This exactly! If they are editing this to make him look bad, or worse than he is, then they really need to be careful.Producers should hang their heads in shame for the way they’re portraying him! He should absolutely be held accountable for his racial slurs but the way they’ve edited the show after all that’s came out is deplorable. Where is their duty of care?
A lot of teenage girls are witches to one another though. Being bullied is awful and i empathise with anyone who is bullied (i had a bit of a tough time in the past with bullies). But you have to move on and people do grow and change, or at least most of them doApparently it was chloe
Exactly!! I was bullied but my bullies grew up and became better people and I moved on with my life.A lot of teenage girls are witches to one another though. to be fair we don’t know what they were bullied for, there is a difference between feasting and teenage bitchiness and flat out bullying, and if someone was bullied for being gay or for their race etc I wouldn’t expect them to just get over itExactly!! Hard agree, but who can blame her? Girls got to make her own fun in there. And Chloe seems constantly drunk
Okay that's quite a leap you made.to be fair we don’t know what they were bullied for, there is a difference between feasting and teenage bitchiness and flat out bullying, and if someone was bullied for being gay or for their race etc I wouldn’t expect them to just get over it
Tbh how do we even know he apologisedWhy was Danny allowed release a statement apologizing from inside LI for what he posted when Sherif was bundled off during the night, LI refused to tell what happened leading to all sorts of rumours, and then it turned out it was play fighting gone wrong with some choice words.
If it was someone else they would kick them out, but it’s Danny and the producers desperately need dramaA statement was in the papers yesterday quoting him from the villa, apologizing for the comment(s).
The show has come under fire plenty of times and especially given what happened with Mike and Sophie, I'm not sure that "all publicity is good publicity" really fits anymore. I dunno, I thought reality TV was past the point of casting people who aren't suitable for whatever reason (thinking the likes of Nikki Grahame here) to get a bit of publicity. There are surely hundreds of suitable people they could have chosen instead.I think that the season has been so boring that the producers are happy for ANY publicity at the moment - good or bad. Danny’s old IG post and now his behaviour in the villa, have got people talking (and watching). That’s what they want.
I know someone who has been on a reality tv show and their social media is VERY well vetted - there is no way a comment like that would slip through. I reckon the producers knew full well about his IG post and put him on the show regardless - likewise with what looks like aggressive, possibly violent tendencies. The contestants are subject to thorough psychological assessments which will have highlighted the personality traits that are being shown on screen.
I do wonder how this is all being edited, because one thing is for sure, this guy is going to come out of that villa a hated man. Look at the abuse Mike T received when he came out and look how that ended up...
Interesting theory. Might have been - if this comes up, do we have your permission to represent you and apologise on your behalf - perhaps during the vetting process and he said yeah, fire ahead.Tbh how do we even know he apologised
He didn't look like anything had happened. He looked very pleased with himself.
Do you think the rest have all been told about it!? I don't think they have, even Kaz or Aaron, cause I don't see them giving him the time of day otherwiseThe show has come under fire plenty of times and especially given what happened with Mike and Sophie, I'm not sure that "all publicity is good publicity" really fits anymore. If the producers knew about that comment, and his personality traits, then it was irresponsible to allow Danny on to the show. I think we can all agree this series has been dry but if we're feeling uncomfortable just watching it, then how do the rest of the cast feel? It's not right to have him sitting on a date with Kaz or squaring up to Aaron when he's come out with the n-word on his social media and it feels disingenuous at best.
The girls sit around in their bed underwear for hours every day? How dare a man do the same.
I’m hoping the sneak preview was taking out of context and it’s not THAT bad…Am I wrong to be a little upset with Kaz? She sat beside Lib and gave her a peck and said that’s the kiss that Chloe should have given Toby and banged on about disrespect, etc. Fast forward to last night and a kiss with Jake that was certainly far from a peck. Lib is so close to Kaz, I can’t help feeling she must feel betrayed.
You’re naive if you think reality is past that point (in my opinion)! There’s no way the producers did NOT know about that comment, no way whatsoever. The thing people need to realise, is we are being shown only what the producers want us to see, in a way in which they want us to see it.The show has come under fire plenty of times and especially given what happened with Mike and Sophie, I'm not sure that "all publicity is good publicity" really fits anymore.
