Aaron said at the beginning of the programme that they get on well and it was just a bit of friendly competition. Producers need to be careful on how they edit things, I can see love island being cancelled for good soon. I’m not keen on him don’t get me wrong but it doesn’t sit right with me that he’s gonna come out being labelled an abuser etc from a few minutes here and there on tv. The abuse he’s getting online is another level probably the worst I’ve ever seen tbh.

This exactly! There are some gullible, fickle people watching this show who just love to hate a villain - the producers know this and they’re setting him up for a massive fall.
Yes, he used a word that is offensive - (when white people use it). Does he not get another chance? Is that it now? Branded a racist for life? The guy hasn’t even been given the opportunity to apologise himself yet.
The public hatred of this guy is on another level and it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. He could come out of there and not be able to cope with the backlash from what is highly likely to be bad editing. What if he were to take his own life? Would these people be happy then?!

It makes me feel uncomfortable to say but the reason Twitter is all obsessed with her is because she’s black. It was similar when Yewande was in there and I understand. Black couples have been incredibly under represented on love island so when an original islander is black naturally people get excited about the prospect of having someone more relatable on tv.

What I don’t like is the double standards, hypocrisy and arse licking. When Chloe did the same thing, they were calling her a slag. Tonight when Kaz has done it “it’s not that deep”
 
I don’t think Danny is that bad… he obviously was getting nothing from her and went with his gut cos LUUUUuuuuuucccccCccccIiiiiinnnddddDAAAA was clearly leading him on and messing him about… she is such a drip… personality of a brick … she comes across as sly and bitchy and super immature

I think it is very unfortunate that the producers didn’t choose to remove him at the point they became aware of his racial slurs. They should have never allowed him to enter the show as 1) they shouldn’t give him any kind of platform and 2) they would know what kind of reaction that would get from the public. They shouldn’t have given him the time of day or any opportunity once they knew that.
 
I think the producers should either get rid of Danny quickly and quietly (and before now i.e. when the N thing came to light), or they should be editing him in a more favourable light (or just not showing much of him at all) because by fueling peoples feelings about him (racist, threatening etc) they are actually putting his life/mental health in danger.
I think the producers are really in error with this, they need to do proper due diligence before they enter and if they don't they need to react quickly by getting them out and not flaunting them.

I totally agree! People are so fast to condemn Danny and to be honest some of the things people have said about him are dangerous! And comparing Lucinda to a brick is actually too kind…Lucinda is all that’s wrong with society these days..has never had to develop any kind of personality because she just relies on her looks and it’s quite sad really.

Some of the crazy assumptions I've seen over the past few days has really hurt my brain. I know the word is 100% wrong and should be used by ANYONE I can also see he didn't use it in a malicious way! Literally was greeting a friend with a phrase that's also a quote from a film said by Denzel Washington to a white man.

Exactly! At the end of the day he’s a human being and the producers have a duty of care to him. I really hope they sit him down and prepare him for what’s to come when he gets out.
