You can tell how dry this series is by how few jokes Ian Stirling is making. Usually by now he has several running jokes about the islanders but you can tell he's struggling this year.
He was making a joke the other day about they should have just switched on the light instead of using candles on Kaz date

I said "you know it's dead when you're making jokes about..... lighting" 🥴🥴🥴

I don’t know how true this is but I’m sure I read somewhere that they get half a day off filming every day this year - between lunch and dinner I think?
it def makes sense as the show literally seems to go from them waking up to the evening very quickly (bar the odd challenge) and could explain why we’re all so confused by the dynamic of the islanders (ie the Toby and Faye thing)

There is definitely something we are not seeing and it’s why the show fails to make sense to the viewers this year. Like someone else said, it was the interpersonal connections and casual chats between various islanders that made us all connect with them previously. Now all we get is a very stage managed and controlled production, like someone has just yelled “ACTION!” right before they speak. It seems forced and unnatural. What I signed up to see was the natural fall outs and love ins between these people who randomly signed up to living together for the summer, which is what it was in seasons one and two but every year since the production interference is getting more and more obvious.

I think the worse it's getting, the more the producers are trying to manipulate to create more drama / excitement, but failing miserably.

I am seriously disliking Hugo atm - very nasty and immature to kiss AJ (in bed) and then tell the boys it was a mistake and then tell the public how forward she is - in the beach hut - bitchy, nasty and immature. First - you’re in the wrong show - you are supposed to graft in LI. Second, bitching about the girl is disrespectful - be a man and let her know before you let everyone else know, thirdly, don’t kiss Kaz just because you want to distance AJ - more using for your own agenda. I really abhor that type of sneaky, keep my options open, behaviour. I want him gone.
Hugo is really closed off from even the thought of connecting with anyone.
I have only seen Hugo handle situations with women harshly. & seems to think he's above it all. U can't be this picky in this environment, otherwise don't be on the show.

I feel he's focusing to much on looks/ his type, and not on personality or finding really love.

I really dislike him and never got the love in that there was for him. He wants someone fresh out of Made in Chelsea to walk in. You can tell he wouldn’t be caught dead with anything less. Even his comment about Danny was “he couldn’t be further from the people I hang out with at home BUT he seems nice”. Insulated twit never had to look beyond his own privilege for anything and now he’s struggling

I agree, everything feels so robotic and with no emotion to it.
I need more context and want to see little progressions in friendships and relationships

SPOILER: JAKE HAS BROKEN OUT THE VILLA 🤣

I know it’s the more popular view that Kaz won the challenge cos she got the most snogs - Kaz really is impressive in every challenge to be fair - but I thought last night’s hero and clear winner, was Liberty. When toddler Toby swerved the pie from Kaz, Liberty stepped in for her friend and made sure to finish the job ‘for my girl, Kaz’ - love it!❤️

I really hope Klu Klax Danny leaves, he has just dark energy to him.

AJ is sweet and I hope she gets to stay. I feel she is probably more attractive in real life and tv doesny translate her attractiveness.

Hugo is an incel, not sure where this nice guy persona is from.

Jake is an awful little gnome and I hope Liberty find someone who is npt using her as a place holder.

Yes, how funny was that.
Millie has a very readable face ... a stunning one too. She’s practically perfect in every way ‘cept the voice 🤭
It is interesting that so many people I'm sure (myself included) felt sorry for Millie as she walked in next to Lucinda. But she really has shone. She seems such a nice fun person. She and Liam are the only ones I can see lasting - as they both like each other a lot but aren't making a massive deal of it.
