Unpopular opinion but I don't actually think Naomi is bad. She was honest when asked if her head could be turned, and Jon blew that in to something it wasn't. Jon generally just really irritates me because he's always stirring tit up. When Max arrived Naomi was still honest with him and Josh about how she felt. It's always gonna be tit being ditched for someone else, especially when you have to live with them 😂, but I don't think it was malicious.

I don't like Jess but I do feel bad for her. She irritates me but she doesn't deserve all the tit that she gets from everyone. The guys are vile about her and it's horrible to watch. I think Naomi and Jess are probably both alright but they just bring out the worst in each other because they clearly hate each other 😂

Beth is such a knob. The way she basically marched in to the villa and instantly started shouting at Jess was just embarrassing to watch. No one nowadays would dare risk their potential brand deals by carrying on like that 😂

Something about Luis with Cally gives me a bad vibe. I feel like he'd be really controlling of her on the outside but I can't think of anything specific he's done to explain that feeling. The dynamic between them just feels off.

Caroline was so obviously invested in the show and all the couples, it's so lovely to see 💔 sometimes she's so biased though 😂

@Whatamiat s1 has been good so far, there's been very few eps where I've thought "this is boring", I'd deffo recommend watching

Oh I got back to watching it. Like right after sending my initial post 🤣 got into it again. Then stopped again. I think I stop during the week cuz im busy with kids. So mite get back on to it tomorro when doing the stinking ironing 🙄

I still can't get over how max talked about jess. Like how did he get away with that, from the public and then jess herself when she seen it when they got out? And he says it so matter of fact. I cant think of the word im looking for right now lol

Watching early tonight ep 30.
I'm not sure if cally and lu are being a bit sensitive about Jon pulling the covers off 🤔 but my boundaries are a mess so maybe I'm wrong 🤷🏽‍♀️
 
I know we’re all out of sync a bit….some people ahead and some behind….I went ahead a bit (I think) and I’ve got episode 32, 33, 34 left. How about everyone else?
 
I’m on episode 29. Jon is pissing me off coz he just has to get into everyone else’s business and giving everyone advice as if he’s been married for 50 years.
Zoe pissed me off coz when she had her wobble about her behaviour she said she was ashamed and regretted sleeping with Hulk, but got upset with him when that hurt his feelings! Like she didn’t understand how that would upset him. it was all about her and she didn’t think he had the right to get upset!
Luis has annoyed me from the start, he comes across as thinking the girls weren’t good enough for him (until Cally). But even with her he was quite moody and I just don’t like him!
Still enjoying it tho!!
 
Watching series 1 now makes it so obvious that no one in the later series went in there for love, and we all know it. Especially watching Lauren (who is my fave in there by a long shot)

Lauren keeps not fancying new guys who come in, and sticks in friendship couples. That's OK. No one is annoyed by it because we accept that it's just luck- the chances of finding the person for you in such a small group are quite limited and everyone understands that. We respect Lauren because she didn't pretend to fancy anyone just for the sake of it.
Compare that to Hugo. He kept not fancying any of the new women and it wasn't endearing, it was annoying. Because now everyone knows it's not about love, it's about the game and he's not playing it properly! We know none of the modern islanders care about love as much as they care about the exposure so what's the point in constantly waiting for something better to come along? Just couple up, that's why you're there!

There's not really any point to this massive post except to distracted me from a report I should be writing 😩 but I just think it's interesting how much public perception of the islanders & the whole show has changed. Sadly I think too many people have got famous from LI now for it to ever again attract anyone other than those seeking fame. It happens to all reality TV at some point. I wish I'd watched these earlier ones at the time ☹

Luis is 100% the type of guy to start telling his gf that she wears too much make up, her skirt is too short, she has too many male friends etc. Hulk also said something about Zoe having loads of male friends that made me a bit 😬

I think so too.

I also found it bizarre that no one really reacted when Hannah and Jon both said they'd done lie detector tests before. If my mate told me that her ex had made her do a Polygraph I'd be horrified.
 
Just watching episode 31 during a break at work.

I'd be annoyed if Jon had pulled the covers off me like that. I wouldn't sleep naked in a dorm room either though so maybe I'm just a prude haha. I still wouldn't spend as long raging about it as Luis did, that guy sure knows how to hold a grudge!

As if Hannah made such a huge deal about Jon losing his boner on national TV 😂

The editing on these couples head to head challenges is SO BAD. You can see the continuity errors where they've put shots together in the wrong order 😂
