As I first watched, those two were my favorite pair. They seem to mesh really well and get along with each other and the rest of the villa. Further along, I think I got rather bored of them (still liked them, especially together, but wasn't exactly passionate about them winning or losing. They were just "there" for me).

The first episode was rather surprising for me because I didn't think Hannah would like Jon, in fact, I thought she would be more rude and snarky personality-wise (I misjudged her based on her style and makeup). Was pleasantly proved wrong when I saw how sweet and relatively drama-free she is/was.

It's also so hard to keep track of things that occur earlier in the series when you're 20 episodes deep lol. I sometimes forget why I don't like a certain person or I'll find it trivial and look past it because I end up liking that person (based on how they act further along) lol.

But, yeah I did like Zoe at first as well but then got a little lukewarm towards her.
 
I watched ep 5 earlier in the day as I wanted to watch Vigil on BBC1 tonight instead! Some thoughts:

- The twins are bitter, horrible people. They slag off everyone behind their back and don't gel with anyone. So happy they're gone and love that none of the group were at the door saying goodbye to them. Them two on one shouting at Zoe was very uncomfortable to watch and I'm glad she held her own.
- Omar cringes me out. He seems extremely arrogant yet very unsure of himself at the same time. I think the guys were right to call Omar out for trying to act laddish, it's obviously not very him.
- Love how they don't make long cringey speeches at recoupling
- I like how Jon seems to have become the leader of the group and always tries to pep everyone up
- New girl Naomi is stunning
- Keep the rollers in Hannah!! Jon was disrespectful joking about getting with the new girls. I bet if Hannah did that about new blokes coming in, he'd kick off

Episode 6 is a recap everyone, so I'll be skipping to ep 7 for tomorrow evenings viewing

Only thing I didn't agree with is the statement about Naomi. I thought she looked a bit older than her age (maybe just because she's on the smaller side and doesn't have much fullness to her face/neck), but beautiful girl nonetheless. Or maybe it's just the camera, because she looks stunning on her socials (which by the way, I love seeing how trends have come and gone when comparing the islanders on the show and them now).

I agree with all of the above and as I said earlier in thread I just love Hannah and her rollers.
I agree on going to episode 7 tomorrow night as 6 is a recap.

Sorry I wasn't on for the show at 9 I wasn't feeling well so they gave me extra iv fluids and antibiotics and I was just zonked out..but hopefully discharged tomorrow or that worst but will be watching tomorrow night.

Also LOVE Jon being daddy of the group makes me laugh 😆
 
Omar is SO irritating! I get the impression he's actually a sweet, fairly innocent guy but he's putting on this ridiculous laddish bravado that is fooling no one and doesn't suit him. He's very insecure and seems to think emulating this jack the lad persona will win him a girl when it's just putting everyone off, big-time.

I don't quite get the love for Jordan on here but I have a mild obsession with Luis, he's so attractive and seems like a really nice guy.
 
Just finished episode 2, wow it's like a totally different show!! Way more natural and less staged and prompted. Jess was a bit all over the place... pretending she didn't get mugged off and nearly begging the Italian guy to ask her to stay was awkward... don't like Josh... like Jonathan and Hannah so far and Chris and Danielle. I like Zoe too!!
Lauren seems to be a bit too sensitive for this kind of show so think I it was a bad choice for her to go in....

Found a way around it lol
I managed to get access to itv hub from Ireland by installing a VPN and when I signed up I used a UK postcode....hint....if anyone in ROI has ever bought anything online from UK go have a looksy at the address you bought from 😉😉🤫🤫🤫

To be fair I'm still stuck in hospital and it was driving me bananas that I couldn't access series 1 so I'm using that as my excuse ☺☺
 
So I have a quick question and I'm just too exhausted to go down a Google rabbit hole.
So I noticed in this season 2021 Chuggs and Hugo had I think signat rings on their pinkies and I'm just after seeing it again now.

Why do certain men wear these rings and others don't?
I don't think I've seen men wear them like this in Ireland

I love how casual they all are generally. During the day they aren't always in swimwear and they don't always get glammed up at night either. Even the recouplings are so casual, they happen during the day when they're wearing whatever and there's no rehearsed speeches or dramatic scenes of the firepit flames. Recent series are all so airbrushed and sanitised whereas S1 and S2 in the old villa were more BB style. I much prefer the old villa too and the pool looks so inviting!
