I think her and Kaz both know they won't meet anyone in the villa as neither of them had a lot of options the first time around, they're just there for the holiday & money like everyone else. I think Liberty handled being back in the villa with Jake much better than he did. She seemed quite unbothered by it all, he was the one who couldn't handle it.

I don’t see her as a victim. I think she knew he didn’t like her but went with it until she realised they weren’t going to win

I just saw her as being a bit dim. It came across like she genuinely liked him so was ignoring the red flags then all of his little digs eventually got to her and she had enough. The milking it in the last few days would have been down to the producers. The final dates were probably already planned so I could see the producers pushing them to drag it out until after the final date.
 
My memory of Liberty was that she knew damn well Jake didn't really like her, but she went along with it until Jake was in the bottom of the public vote at the pool party episode and then they were voted least compatible/one-sided by the public.

Liberty knew by that point that there was no way they'd win so she engineered breaking up and walking away to milk publicity and present herself as a strong emancipated woman etc.

Jake was a total jerk, but Liberty absolutely threw him under the bus there and seemed happy to destroy his reputation. I'm amazed he even wanted to return.

Ah did we watch the same show? She pouted the whole time about it. If anyone was making it awkward, it was her. I thought he came across friendly and she was making strange to him and everyone whenever there was a mention of them being exes.

All she has going for her is the poor me, I deserve better schtick. Yawn.

Maybe hard for him mentally after the backlash he got last time and then no one stepping forward for him but it speaks volumes that he has walked. She is in it for the fame. Sure wasn’t she only on love island games the other day 😂

for as much as she loves to play dumb (while simultaneously mentioning her GCSEs) she’s driven by fame and given her only claim to fame is pretending to be a role model to young women (hah) through leaving her 4 week holiday romance boyfriend she was always going to milk their ex status(again eyeroll) until

she wasn’t half as thick as she let on. Her gameplan was always to attempt a Dani Dyer day one coupling and when she realised it wasn’t working she switched tactics to victim who overcomes abusive relationship! Shes going for the exact same journey by trying to get with Mitch. She knows she’ll likely only look good by comparison.

Where is the whole Liberty being a victim coming from? Jake was horrible to her or rather behind her back and she was happy with him right up until the end when she found out? Then she left so when was she playing victim? Also re Callum and Molly, why would anyone form LI ever approach them for all stars if they were in a happy relationship for them to stage this whole thing?

Yes Jake was horrible to her but I find it do find it surprising that none of the other girls marked her card about his behaviour, I know I would have. The moment she found out what the public actually thought about them as a couple (not compatible) is when she knew they weren’t winning anything so she turned herself into a victim, to qualify, a victim in the sense of ‘poor me’ .. very manipulative.

They did. Don’t you remember their faces when she tried to tell them some news. It was either that he loved her or he asked her to be his gf.
I remember it being at night and the girls were all sitting round together

OK then, can’t remember it clearly, did the other girls ask her to be aware? If they did personally this puts her in an even worse light .. forewarned is forearmed applies.
