Since day one it's been the Gemma show. no one's allowed to go near her, you can't snog her in challenges, she gets out of challenges if she doesn't like them (remember refusing lap dance for Liam?) such a set up. Without designer make up and 50k worth of bling, I think she's a total plain Jane I wouldn't say she's outstandingly beautiful at all. She looks like Claire Sweeny in brookside.
She does end up with vile blokes for some reason. So Luca. Jacques, and Billy is some sort of real life acquaintance too.

Banter boy Billy got scared of snogging Gemma in the challenge and instead "out of respect" gave a cheek peck. Didn't want to upset his leader Luca, and lets face it luca is the leader of the boys, even the ones that say they hate him (Andrew) do as he says. Gemma chose him because he was the leader (always leading the banter etc) not because he was her type. Luca's chat up line "I fancy the tit out of you" try using that one on a posh bird :unsure:
Remember she said to Adam she has "two types" "him or Davide" Why didn't she try more for someone she actually attracted to? Try harder with Davide or go for more chats with Adam? I think she's made a deal with Luca just to sit tight and see it through. She didn't want to know Liam and dropped Davide early on. I think it's a show from Luca too, but obviously he can see a massive lifestyle change on the horizon, so he'll insist on a traditional wedding, father of the bride pays for everything, but when he said bring me Kim Kardashian or Michelle Keegan, are they not two women in their, or knocking on 40s? this suggests to me a preference for something else.
The other night Luca said he "liked her bikini" the producers left it in because its probably a done deal with OG swimwear. Also before the show started her name was doing the rounds in the media and some fake photos were "leaked" on various whatsapp group chats supposedly from her only fans (however it was some porn star who looked similar), however getting her name and face recognized by people who wouldn't necessarily watch love island before, the PR machine was stoking up the flames. Therefore I believe It's a totally scripted result I think so unfortunately I think its a set up for the Luca and Gemma win.

I also feel like Gemma had loads of Pr training before she went in there - she knows how to give away just enough but we don’t really know her. She’s shown no vulnerability, no real emotion. She hasn’t put a foot wrong, it’s why I find her so dull.

She’s perfected the art of being inoffensive.
 
None of the girls in that villa are girls girls including Ekin. (She stirred things up about dami’s mind reading, she told Tasha one day it was okay to get to know as many guys, then when ( Tasha) was crying, she(Ekin) along with Davide,Luca,and dami talked behind her back about how she has gotten to know multiple guys… I don’t get why everyone is saying Ekin is the only girls girls because she’s not… none of the girls in the villa seem to be..

Love Island has a habit of reflecting the toxic parts of our society, whether that be men who literally cannot take no for an answer (Billy harassing Gemma), men bullying a disabled woman (Dami and Luca on Tasha), men demonstrating abusive tendancies (Luca on Gemma)… even the whole no one sticking up for Tasha thing is arguably due to play ground pack mentality - popular girls giggling at popular boys being assholes.

The whole show is toxic and tbh it could really do with a revamp now.

They wouldn’t be saying she is wifey material if she stood up to or challenged the boys.
She saw how they treated Tash in the challenge, spoke to Tash but didn’t (as far as we saw) take the boys to task.
I still think the producers had a word.
And what is it with Dami and his dramatic sighs before every time he has to “apologise” or “set things straight”. Just feels so insincere.

Do you know that is a great point, one I hadn’t considered before.
In all of the earlier, and sometimes volatile series, the girls always had each other’s backs. If any questions about breaking the girl code came up it got discussed between the two islanders concerned, not by the girls not concerned sitting around all together and giving their ‘opinions’ That happens in actual life, on a reality show it comes under the heading of ‘not my business’ 🤫
 
What's the point of the public voting if final decision is Islanders? Its getting pointless now. Those apologies from Dami and Luca yesterday were so scripted, so obvious and if at all sincere. Producers should have just let them roast in their own immature venom and face the public. Sam Thompson was squealing watching it saying how it was so like a scripted scene from Made in Chelsea. 🙄

Wish it had been Luca AND Dami in the bottom two, wipe the smiles of their stupid faces.

the best thing that could have happened to luca would have been to be in that bottom vote. Now that he hasn’t been I think he’ll be at the centre of more drama and upset.

Hope Tasha remembers to tell him it's not that deep and that he should be happy now his "not exclusive" with Indiyah and has no right to be upset.

It's so scripted, a few days ago we got Deji telling Danica how he felt and then literally nothing aside from a few shots of Deji's reaction of Danica and Billy. The viewer vote happens Then they leaned heavily into the Danica and Billy drama yesterday with the Islanders making the final decision. We know how it will play out- save Danica because she hasn't gotten a chance and let go of Billy and Summer because they aren't in a couple

i said the exact same and if you think about it when she comes out there won’t be time for professional PR training so she would of have to done it before entering the villa
 
Producers swiftly turned the spot light away from Luca and put it on Billy concentrating on making him look the bad boy. It didn't work as Danica didn't seem to give a tit about him spilling the beans to the boys so they scripted another set up for a girl chat resulting in Danica confronting Billy about something she wasn't arsed about in the first place. Billy goes down and Luca stays safe.
 
Regarding why people are voting for Luca…

The age demographic of people who watch LI are 16-34 women, with younger teenagers also watching. It’s also skewed to the younger range of this. This is why ITV won’t cancel it because it’s a marketers dream.

Many of the people watching want to be friends with Gemma. She has “popular sporty” girl vibes written all over her. People are voting for her.

Ironically, riding on Gemma’s coattails, Luca will remain safe because many of these people will naturally vote for him too because he’s “Gemma’s soul mate”.

Edit to add: unfortunately Tattle is an echo chamber. Our views are not reflective. There are many many people on Instagram and TikTok who love Gemma and Luca and really buy into their love.

It’s like Dani and Jack. They got over 70% of the vote every time because people really bought into their relationship. I don’t think Luca and Gemma are as popular as this, but it’s the same vibe.
