The series would be far more interesting if it was all public votes, and they could hear the public reaction to them like the cheers/boos on Big Brother. This format doesn't work as it always ends up with the latecomers going so there's never a shock factor any more, like when Malin got voted off.

I never liked them hearing the crowd in BB, totally affected the dynamic in the house. On this occasion however I’m more than happy to organise a whip-round to pay for one those planes that carry a message to fly over the villa. The message should read “You’re all a bunch of tossers, wait til you get your phones back tee-he”.
