When the Casa amour women appeared, his exact words were something along the lines of he hadn’t done anything with them because he was thinking about Paige’s feelings , and it was now time to stop thinking about upsetting Paige so he could crack on with the new people. Which he then did! So much so, that he managed to upset Cheyanne as well.
