Yes we could get the occasional full Kady but she wasn’t anything like Faye. Kady could also be a supportive and kind islander, Faye was never anything like that.
Katy and Scott had some horrendous arguments but they were always 2-sided. I only watched it last year and I can remember saying they'd be a horrendous couple to live next door to because she'd be screaming and he'd be punching the walls, but the next day they'd be all loved up again. The only time Kady was properly uncomfortable to watch was when she was screaming at Tina because it was 1-sided. Even Kady vs Malia was an even match 😂

That's a big part of what made Faye and Jacques unpleasant to watch. They'd both be aggressive towards people who weren't fighting back, so it wasn't an argument it was just a 1-sided tirade. Faye wouldn't even stop when the other person was crying. It's never nice to watch that. I suspect the islanders have seen this side of Jacques before and that's why Billy refused to leave him alone with Paige when he was so agitated.

Sorry to bring it back to season two, I’ve never seen it but have seen that clip before - why was it such a big deal Zara had slept with your man? Apart from the pearl clutching of her not knowing him was he with someone else? I thought He’s just arrived…

He wasn’t actually coupled up with someone else but had been spending most of the short time he’d been in the villa with Olivia and the attraction was pretty obvious. Otherwise, someon will have to verify this, but didn’t Zara win some kind of challenge and picked as her prize Alex to spend a night with in the hideaway, where they did have sex,
Better news is Olivia forgave Alex and they are still together to this day, recently had a baby,

Yes this is so true. I want fair fights not 1 sided beration.

It really wasn't to any rational person but Liv wasn't the nicest girl on the show and definitely felt like she had a claim to him. Also definite slut shaming that Miss GB would do something as "shocking" as have sex on the first night.

I think a lot of the bitching came from the girls knowing that Zara was the sort of person who didn't do casual hook ups and tended to get overly invested in guys quite quickly, so they were annoyed because they thought she'd be really upset and they'd have to pick up the pieces. They were much more supportive of her about it once they realised she wasn't the regret-stricken damsel that they'd expected her to be.

Absolutely loved Sophie 💔 giving her speech about female sexuality and empowerment during the talent show.

Oh God, I just realised that we still probably have to sit through a talent show this year 😵

Of course he did, but what no one can predict is how that person will react to all the negavity, the strongest minded person would even buckle somewhat under it. Its about being kind. Clearly the guy is immature. Its fine to talk about it,but this, in my eyes is vitriol which is the damaging part

But it’s ok for him not to ‘be kind’ ? I wish that phrase would go away, basically means ‘allow me to say and do as I want but don’t call me out on it’. The lad had red flags hanging off every inch of him, the way he spoke to Paige at times was terrible. Telling Billy to duck off for no reason. Perhaps he should ‘be kind’

Sophie was a fabulous beautiful islander, loved how at the end of that concert she declared loud and proud “women like sex” ❤️

so based on the ekin aftersun clip in the same dress we're three days behind??? that same delay would make the jazmine situ make sense, they saw that andrew didn't bother w her after day 1 / titgate happened the same night so just kept her out of the edit and his sudden connection with coco looked more genuine. we probs saw the lads first full day on the night of the recoupling then!

I am getting really sick and tired of people using the tragic early deaths of three people in an attempt to stifle conversation on Jacques toxic behaviour. Much of the comments calling Jacques out are based on personal lived experiences of those who have been in abusive relationships, and I find it gross that people are saying #bekind people have committed suicide associated with Love Island. This stupid argument is an attempt to shut down conversation and is also arguable in itself very toxic.

Firstly, Caroline Flack was never a contestant on LI, she never appeared on it as a reality TV star. If you’re going to pass any blame onto a TV show for her death, I’d argue Strictly made her more famous than LI did. Strictly has 10M views a week, by a broad range of the public. LI has 3M with the majority being from one demographic (young and female).

Secondly, none of these deaths happened as a result of the show. Yes Mike and Sophie appeared on the show, but that doesn’t mean it’s the shows fault. Mental Health is such a complex issue. People who don’t like reality TV have just latched onto this argument as a means of persuading other people that this is a reason the show should end.

Thirdly, I’m going to say this again, but I find it frankly disgusting that people are essentially saying you can’t call out his behaviour because “he has ADHD”. Why is it acceptable for him and his family to create even more misunderstanding about this condition? Isn’t life hard enough for people who are neurodivergent (people who do not think in a typical way), without having head behaviour claimed to be the reason for it. You can have ADHD and be a head. You can have ADHD and not be a head. You can not have ADHD and be a head. All of these things are true.

I have not seen anyone say “Jacques deserves to die” or anything sick like that. I haven’t seen anyone say anything that is harsh or unfair in regards to Jacques. All I have seen is people interpreting his behaviour based on their lived experiences. That is literally the whole point of Reality TV…. Many people love to watch it so they can talk about it and that’s the interesting part. That’s why we’re all on tattle. That’s why people tweet along. That’s why Reddit advertise in the LI breaks.

He was clearly asked to leave the show because of his aggressive and manipulative behaviour and reactions. He should have never been allowed on the show in the first place and hopefully LI producers will alter the interview stages to ensure this doesn’t happen with a contestant again.
