For maximum drama and then the build up of them making it work again.

Jake was a game player but no more so then Liam was a cheat and Faye was a bully. Liam got a heroes edit and Faye was protected at every stage by producers - in vote offs, in edits etc. It’s great they called Jake out but they should have been willing to show the others up too.

Comeuppance or even called out on her behaviour is one of the most disappointing and frustrating parts of the series.

I went from loving and doting on Liberty to actually cannot stand her now!

She is just so smug
I really hope she doesn’t get far with her career as she doesn’t deserve it

I like millions in the world have to work bloody hard just for a promotion and these twats go live in a hot country for a few months and come out celebs and everything handed to them on a plate and gifted items left right and centre

Liberty and Jake are as bad as each other. In my opinion, they first paired up and stuck together as they both had the same idea. They wanted that fairytale that they know always goes well with viewers. They were both playing a game, I definitely don’t think it’s fair that Jake has kind of had to take that one on his own.
 
I do feel sorry for Jake. He went in with a game plan and thought he could 'play the system' forgetting viewers are invested in LI and are well versed in all the scams islanders come up with and can see through a lack of authenticity.
But I do think he was thrown under the bus while Faye and Liam were shielded for some reason.
Liberty milking it now is irritating. Nothing that terrible happened to her. She isn't some brave survivor who needs to keep telling her 'story'.

Totally agree. She went through a break up. Same as many many many other people. Yes, not everyone has it play out on TV, but she wasn’t innocent in it. She played the game as much as Jake.

I think she’s trying to pull an Amy and come out as a strong hero who has been lied to and wronged by the man she loved. And a lot of people buy into that and relate to it. Whereas Jake from day one has been seen as cunning so the trust wasn’t there with the public.

Yeah I’ve heard about this. She was notorious for being around the likes of Diddy a couple years ago after her relationship with footie ex fell apart. That’s why I was so surprised to see her on LI cause she was kinda known (I guess not in a good light though)
