I’m following the finalists bar Faye and Tyler. Also following Aaron, Sharon and Brett but will likely unfollow as can’t imagine they’ll be doing much of interest after the next few weeks.

Fair enough and I get what she’s saying, there have been strong female friendships but the producers always seem to focus on the bromance with the women’s friendship never getting that same attention.

This year was different with Kaz and Liberty being the strong female friendship that was focused on while there wasn’t really a strong bromance that the producers focused on.

True except to me it rang fake and I feel like the friendship with Kaz was exactly what Liv was going for to ensure she was a memorable islander. Even the way she referred to them as besties was almost possessive. I dono I’m delighted she got out of a relationship she wasn’t happy in but everything she’s done or said since just has me massively rolling my eyes.

That’s fair we can agree to disagree. Imo there wasn’t anything fake about the friendship. To me it seemed clear that they really bonded and got on well from the get go.

Kaz also referred them as besties all time as well to the point that she said she had found love in Liberty so I definitely didn’t see that as possessive.
 
I see from Hugo's story that he spoke about his disability, I think it's a shame that none of that was aired tbh

I think they get on very well but I defo think Liberty wanted to make it a THING, the way she wanted her and Jake to be the next Jack and dani and then when that didn’t work she wanted to be a Strong! Independent! Woman! who stayed true to herself. It was all very tell instead of show and I found her relationship with Kaz to be an example of that.
