I just don't get why she ran after someone she openly said she wasn't friends with - surely Kaz or someone else would go with her? Or she could let someone else know who actually has emotional empathy?

It looks like Kaz might have been on a date. I don't think anyone else saw Liberty run away. Even if they aren't friends I'm sure she is concerned for her. The not friends might have been in the heat of the moment, they still seem friendly in the villa
