Honestly think Jake has watched every series of LI, here, abroad, and has staged most things. The bracelet, the dance, the storm out. the egging on of the other boys, I totally get it.

He knows where the cameras are, he knows what to do to get airtime, he knows how far to push it.

This happens in every popular reality series eventually and I'm really surprised its taken 7 years for someone to do it.

I don't think he's evil, but I do think he isn't as clever or subtle as he thinks he is. I also think Liberty is the perfect naïve accomplice.

They'll be voted out soon anyway.
 
I actually am dreading watching tonight. It's just going to be Faye screaming at everyone and NO ONE standing up to her... not sure I'm able for it tbh
I'm glad people in this thread are able to see her for what she is, I mistakenly checked out Reddit and she is supported in every way, no matter what she does, it's depressing 😞

I agree. I think the majority of the Islanders are playing the game this year and faking things to get to the final, but Jake just isn't as good at hiding it as the others. I'm kinda glad he got called out for it because I found it so tedious to watch him being so obviously false, but I don't think he's morally any worse than most of the others so it does feel a bit disingenuous for them to act so bothered by it.

Stopped listening to it after the mega Faye outburst because I couldn’t believe how she was sticking up for this woman who has been a bully and the Queen Bee from the start.
Now I have no patience for Teddy either. I used to think he was a gem. Now I think he’s an idiot.

My thoughts exactly! He isn't subtle, is he?! He must have planned it so 'meticulously' from his bedroom, thinking it was a foolproof plan! Well, who is the fool now?
I almost feel sorry for him. Almost.
 
Faye is the bully girl everyone was tit scared of in school but as soon as one person stands up to them it’s a different story.

Hopefully one of them actually grows a pair and gives her it back. The last person to do that was Dale and even he backed down. I’d love one of the girls to dish it back out to her.

This is what I meant earlier about the partners - it looks like Teddy is stepping up for Faye and is upset by Tyler. Fair enough. Aaron is also upset by Kaz/Tyler. Lib has to now take sides - she couldn’t wait for Jake to commit to her so now she needs to stand by him as he gets attacked. Love him or loathe him, she needs to piss or get off the pot. The girls girls narrative is getting old for Lib.

Tbh Aaron is too scared to confront Faye and Teddy about voting for him and Mary.

It’s so frustrating. And everything is abut how the producers hate Faye and how they’re supporting Jake and Faye is the victim yada yada. I normally love Orlaith but she just had it so so wrong. It’s really impacted the podcast as 90% of it is just is just discussing or defending Faye.

Who cares who voted for who.....everyone had to vote for someone and they are all still in the villa........

At this point Faye just irritates me. She shouts to make her point. If you have to shout it means you have lost the moral high ground on any argument as far as I am concerned. And all this about her being hurt in the past. That is never an excuse for crappy behaviour. She needs to stop sucking the life out of the place. Everyone is clearly walking on eggshells.

Teddy can get in the bin. He is a doormat and will always be treated like a doormat by her.

Liberty is a mug.

Jake is manipulative AF.

Millie and Liam are just a whole bunch of issues. As someone said earlier they couldn't cope with being in separate villas - they will not survive on the outside like that.

Tyler and Kaz are dull. They lost me at the whole Matt / Clarisse fuckaround fandango. Game playing is not it.

Toby and Chloe seem ok but even they don't interest me that much.

Mary and Aaron just seem dull.

In summary - I don't like any of them and the series is boring me but will I watch to the end? Abso-fecking-lutely.

I feel like Faye only voted for Mary and priya so that she would have an excuse to go ape at anyone who voted for her and try manipulate the villa and viewers into showing her as the heroine who wouldn’t vote for her pals. That to me is manipulative. I feel she’s just a big a game player as Jake only where he went in to win it she just wanted to cement herself as the standout contestant ie Maura Higgins or Olivia Atwood. She’s tried a number of times to be funny or get her quips going ie tingle in mingle.
