I really feel for Liberty. I think she’s a really sweet, nice girl. It’s like she senses what Jake is really like but doesn’t want to believe it because he does *just* enough (shite) to pull her back in. My ex husband in counselling used to say ‘but I love you and you’re the most amazing person I’ve ever known’ but in reality the words meant nothing against the action… I didn’t feel like he meant it because you can’t just say it- you have to feel it…
I think Libs is feeling ‘but he loves me so it’s ok’ even though she is questioning his behaviour.
