I'm really trying to educate myself on colourism as it's something I was very naive about until recently. Since learning more about it I'm shocked and saddened by how prevalent it is, and I do see how Clarisse's comments, and the ones she chooses to like, are part of the issue. I was just wondering if Tyler has said or done anything to make him personally seem colourist? I'm not arguing at all, I'm just asking because if he has then it's gone over my head and I'm really trying to learn to recognise the signs where I may not have noticed them before. Is it an assumption people have made because it's such a widespread problem or are there any red flags he's shown?

In my personal opinion I don’t think Tyler has. The issue from what I see is more with Clarisse in her comments and generally how she acted. It was almost like she couldn’t believe she had been ditched for another woman, let alone a darker skinned woman.
Tyler is a dick. I personally think he came in to couple up with Kaz to secure his place in the Villa knowing how typically black women are not picked often and we saw this with kaz, and then dropped her for the lighter skinned woman at the drop of a hat (then did a 360 because I think he knew how unpopular it would make him) However I think he would have dropped kaz for any girl, regardless of her skin tone.

Honestly she should concentrate on her own toxic relationship that won't last 5 mins outside the villa. She had a go at Jake for encouraging bad behaviour in Casa Amor (rightly so), but now says that she loves him and he's her friend. Fakest one on there, inside and out!
