I actually agree with an earlier poster, the sex scene is the least problematic part of the show. I’d rather see sex scenes on TV that weren’t just violent in dramas… They’re all consenting adults, if they want to essentially take part in a orgy that’s up to them 🤷🏻‍♀️ No shame in it if that’s what they want to do.

But the starting line up where they are all stood in bikinis waiting to get picked just based on looks alone… that’s some stupid tit that should be stopped. Definitely wouldn’t harm the show to not have couples to start with and let them couple up after a few days of getting to know each other.

I also think they should have an option not to couple up - it's ok not to be in a couple Teens!

Completely agree with this. I also think it's a bit gross that the guy picks the girl he thinks is best looking to couple up with and she doesn't have a chance to say no if she doesn't fancy him. It was so cringey that Aaron picked Shannon when she hadn't stepped forward for him. I don't think you should be able to pick someone who didn't step forward for you (unless no one did 😬)

Agreed. It really does send out a message you can only be happy with a significant other. I think you should have to be in a couple to win obviously but equally if you aren’t feeling it with anyone in there you shouldn’t have to be in a friendship couple for the sake of it 🤷🏻‍♀️

The public votes would be so much more interesting if it was things like “who should go on a date”, “which couple is the most genuine” etc rather than just: here is a popularity contest!

Absolutely. I don't see a problem with showing women having and enjoying sex. I think it's probably a good thing to show young women that it's nothing to be ashamed of! I think this show sets terrible examples for teenagers, but this isn't one of the things that concerns me.

Yeah they should go in a few days get to know each other and then decide to couple up or remain single...would avoid couples like Jiberty 🙄
Also they would feel more free to get to know new comers...which they have been so condemned for this year!
 
So did Lib sleep with Jake before or after she saw the clip of him in CA. If before I can understand why she was so upset. If after I hope it wasn't an effort to keep him interested? I don't really believe her.

Also I think Brett looks like an Ali express version of David Gandy🙈

They should have dates every other day and it should be voted for by the public as you said. It would be interesting to see what happened when individuals were forced out of their couple to spend time alone with someone else. For example, I think Teddy and Abi would have had a great date. And in the earlier episodes, it would have given more scope for them all to get to know each other instead of not wanting to offend people who were 'happy' in their chosen couples.

Also, why don't they go to the hideaway more often? It's only been open 2 or 3 times in the last 6(?) weeks? What's the point?

It's wierd isn't it? Like it has been completely forgotten.
I vaguely remember from a previous series one of the islanders said afterwards that it was used quite a lot but not shown. I don't understand why not though.
