Why ain’t no one going to the hideaway ??
The ceremony was too scripted that’s what made it cringe for me!
From season 2-4 the cast members weren’t having sex discreetly they were doing the do so everyone knew but at the same time if you ‘fancy’ someone and you lie in bed with them everyday for 5 weeks not having sex is hard lol but i do think they all egg each other on.
I was under the impression that they all had sex before in the house expect teddy and that mad woman faye am i wrong ?

I honestly don't think it's that bad. I think it's actually a good way for teens to see sex. There's been loads of investigations done that show kids as young as 9 see porn, and there was one recently where they asked teenage boys about their views on sex and it was awful and they all said they got their information from porn. It's far better for them to see that actually it's mutual, these people have got to know each other and are just having basic sex, in bed, the women clearly consented and no man pushed them in to it and the next day everyone is happy about it. Noone is full or remorse and regret, they've all just had a nice time.

They don't get to use the hideaway, so they clearly agreed it was less weird to all do it together, and that's kind of good? Like the girls discussed having sex beforehand, knew they were all comfortable with it, all supported each other? yes, it was super cringey, especially the "ceremony" the next day, but it's good to encourage people to talk more openly about sex - they're just discussing their feelings with their mates, and we need to encourage that in our kids.

I am generally quite prudish, and no way in hell would I do that myself, but I do think that as far as the portrayal of sex on tv goes, it was NICE. Everyone consented and was happy. Every tv drama has to make it rough, somewhere ridiculous, dangerous, and a lot of the time it's a woman getting hurt and that shouldn't be the only representation of sex that teens should be able to see.

This is why we (the public) can’t have nice things.

When I checked on this before they closed it Chloe and Toby had swapped with Faye and Teddy. I can’t believe people think Millie and Liam are genuine. She’s 100% only stayed with him to keep herself in the show as she knows it’s coming to an end. I think in the real world she’s have a lot more self respect.

I reckon Millie will be the only one who stays semi-famous from this series. The rest of the cast are just 🤷🏻‍♀️

Love Island 'cut secret sex scenes' from ITV2 show published last night, the timing is :sneaky:

I'd be interested to know what the production team told the contestants i.e. "We won't show anything graphic, we promise!" Did they warn contestants that signs of sex would be shown, like the obvious duvet rustling and humping?

Yes, they're talking about it openly, though the NVQ stuff is bullshit, but it's the women of the villa that stand to lose more in the wider world - the receptions between Zara and Alex were very different.
