Wait : these clowns get a psych eval to get on the show? How did Chelsea get on?

Kenneth is so damn boring. Brittany's too good for him. I hope she says no, but he probably will say no first. hole.

Clay seems FULL OF ANXIETY ALL THE TIME. His sister is really pretty. Love how his mum's idea of "balance" is AD compromising for him. :rolleyes:

All these girls are running around making excuses for these maladjusted males "oh he's just an introvert" while getting no grace from them.

The blonde guy with the longer hair and his girl -- forgot their names sorry -- have nothing in common. She is not attracted to him at all.

I dislike Jessica. Something ain't right as to why she's single and it has nothing to do with being a mum (probably her only redeeming quality). She seems to think she's perfect though, but out here thirsting for some mid guy? After her highfalutin flounce from the pods? Girl bye.

I agree I think she's super pretty. And her "I got a handle on all my business" energy very attractive. She needs a VERY secure man.
 
Feel like I wasn’t paying 100% attention when it was the start but I feel like Clay talked about never seeing the show before and almost having now clue about what to expect. And then when him and AD were talking about wedding he knew nothing about what happens.
is he an actor? Was he asked to apply for the show? The fact he goes on about cheating I have no idea why he would want to be married ?!

Also feel like Chelsea looks like a mix of Sophie and Charlotte from Geordie Shore
 
I'm on the third episode and Jimmy reminds me of my ex that broke up with me.... One difficult-ish conversation, one small roadblock and the man crumbles. "I don't want to talk about it, can we talk about something light?" No, witch, speak up 😂 and it's always those that say upfront how communication is the key. Eye roll

From bits I’ve read, they’re in the pods 8-9 days! They do speed dating at the start and apparently have 7 minutes per person and they have to rate everyone from 1-15 in terms of preference. And then the producers cut the ones at the bottom of the list so that each day they have fewer people to ‘date’ and each date in the pods lasts longer.

By day 8 or 9 they’re all pretty much talking to 1, maybe 2 people. Once there’s been a proposal they do the reveal and they get like 15 minutes together and then go back to their separate areas and don’t see each other till the ‘honeymoon’ trip away which is their proper real chance to meet each other.

The ones who last the holiday all get moved in to apartments together until the wedding. There’s only a month between the proposal and the wedding so it’s like super sped up and then at the wedding they decide whether or not they’re getting married. It’s like love island on speed 😂

It blows my mind every season, it’s such a good theory/idea for a dating reality show that’s a bit different but every season they absolutely duck it and just bring in absolute arseholes who need therapy, not a marriage 😬
 
Still catching up here. I'm on episode 5.

Chelsea you do not look like Megan fox. Stop falling about the floor. We all know you're at it. You're not special, you're a head. Stop acting like you care about those two men when you don't.

I know I'm behind but that's my opinion.

P.s... Stop the dramatics, we know its you creating them.

Jessica seems to be someone who has traded off her looks forever, and cannot comprehend not being chosen (Jimmy weird reactions aside ofc) I would put money on her not being attracted to Jimmy at all, but she will go after him to just 'win'
 
What I can never get over with this show is how everyone is all "I love you so much" "I love you to death" etc and it's like been a couple of days 😂 i get it's really intense and massively heightened but love feels such a stretch.

I'm sick of Jimmy and Chelsea, she's absolutely needy and clingy! Her love language is completely words of affirmation, needs telling all the time how amazing, beautiful and in love to function! The you didn't kiss me today, like wow calm down love. She's incredibly sensitive and I totally agree she needs therapy not a relationship.

Clay also needs therapy over his dad's cheating etc I think he's trying to be open and transparent but in reality he's laying down the foundations of "oh I cheated but it's not really my fault, my childhood, oh and black men cheat" AD, just go cos if he loved you he would even need to consider it.

I'm gutted about Jeramey, I liked him in the pods but he's a douche and I can't believe the tiktok about him being engaged before the show!! Laura deserves better, she's an absolute boss and I think my favourite.. despite her friendship with Jessica, who I really dislike, I totally agree she's got through life on her looks! I didn't like her including Autumn into the whole "mums coming back with a man" kinda vibe and stuff she mentioned Autumn had said for a 10yo sounds far too grown up and a bit mean girl, so 100% think Jessica is. Doesn't strike me as a girls girl at all. She wants a sugar daddy!

Kenneth is cold! Shows no emotions and talks like a principal 😂 Brittany is beautiful and deserves a warmer person. The staring at his phone was so cringe, I think it'll surprise him watching it back how much he was on it as we all know they edit so must be much more than what was shown too!!

This really interests me too 😭 it’s either bare faced lies to add to the show or it is super intense where people don’t understand reality properly in the moment. I suppose being surrounded by other gassed up people saying they’re in love too could really make people feel deeper than they actually do. I know they have to cut it all down and so much out in editing but it does seem OTT, especially when they are all sobbing when they say I love you like they’re pissed or on drugs 😂

Yeah like they say “I love you with all of my heart”!! Um you love your kids with all of your heart, your parents, husband, not some random person you’ve known for all of a week!
