Season 5 was absolute dogshit. They should have reviewed it and just scrapped airing it. Just a complete waste of time. The British one should be good (hopefully).

Yeah the American ones are all "you're the other half of my heart, my soul has been longing for you", the Brits will be "yeah, seems nice, sounds fit"
I wonder if they'll film it all with people who live in the same city (like they do in the US one). On MAFS UK there was alot of 'oh but how will the marriage work if one of us lives in Edinburgh and the other lives in Sheffield'.

Same - I practically begged my friend to apply for the show. She’s so unlucky in love but the nicest person and thought she’d be the type everyone would want to watch/root for (plus I’d get to go to a love is blind wedding
) but she refused!

I don’t think I could watch the British one. I imagine it’ll all be the reality tv types and nobody actually wanting to find LOVE.
(I know that probably makes good tv but the wholesome couples who are there for genuine reasons make me love this show!)

Yes I'm watching. I definitely don't think they've picked the best Sweden has to offer!
Finding it quite interesting though. I can't see many couples actually getting married. Maybe just Rasmus and Krisse-ly.

I tried to watch the Swedish pods last night but cannot get past the god awful dubbing! With the voiceovers being actors they sound so fake and contrived!
You don't have to have dubbing. I just selected to have subtitles.

No problem! Just go to the audio/subtitles settings and choose original audio.

On the American humour... Remember when Nick said '2nd marriages are the best' to one of the grooms, but obviously for most of the couples sitting there it was their 1st marriage. Plonker!
