Just finished watching the series last night. I agree it was quite poor this year. I wish they would show more actual people during the pod dating - you could see people in the ladies and gents communal areas and not a notion who they were, what they were like, who they got along with etc. Really poor that only 2 couples made it to the altar.
I don't understand why Milton was on the show at all - he's only 24, I gather he's been in studies for a good while and works long hours. He's hardly had much time experience etc in dating, relationships - was this a lazy way of finding a partner?
I thought it was mean that Izzy's comment at the end about Stacey being single at 33. They were absolutely not suited, they were too different, at different life stages and wanted different things from life. Stacey most certainly wanted a man who was well off and that's why she had dated older men. Really jazzed up her cv by stating she's an "operations manager" when she runs a pilates studio.
My head was wrecked with the whole Uche / Lydia drama - arguments kept getting repeated, everyone else wading in for their 2 cents. Either the producers knew about it or Lydia is a real bunny boiler.
I felt sorry for Taylor - she would have said yes to whoever proposed, she just wanted to be picked and wanted and loved. As soon as they met, both herself and JP didn't fancy each other. I though JP was cowardly in that he blamed her wearing make up as the reason.

Lastly, one thing I noticed during the show and it really annoyed me - I noticed it during scenes with Izzy and Stacey - travelling the in car with the seat belt tucked under the arm instead of across the body, so that there was just a lap belt (hopefully I'm explaining it clearly). That is extremely dangerous.
 
Im watching the reunion and I am disgusted by the way it's so normalised for wives / women to be cleaners and maids for their husbands and men in their lives. Everyone is just like ha ha what are grown men like!

I think they are still together…. he has dramatically lost weight, so I suspect he’s living a Stacy life now. She’s very into her fitness.

The reunion: I love Milton and Lydia. I just love Lydia. I know a few on here weren’t too keen and thought she was loco but I think she is a fiery latina and I love that about her. Wee bit surprised they r still together but pleasantly surprised.
No surprises with Stacy and Izzy not working out. But i did think he was a bit of a player at first and now i’m pleasantly surprised that was IN IT in it.
Chris and Johnie - bit surprised he cheated and left her like that.
JP and Taylor. Has she had work done? Looked mega different/puffy but absolutely gorgeous. JP seems a very odd sort.
Aaliyah needs to get over it a bit. Uche is a condescending dick.
I think Nick and Vanessa have toned it down a bit and have been better hosts this year.

I think Aaliyahs reaction was more than valid. She was humiliated and disrespected, stabbed in the back and had the experience robbed from her (though it worked out in the end).

Yeah Taylor has fallen victim to the insta filler look
 
If anyone remembers Deepti and Natalie from season 2, they have a podcast called Out of the Pods and this week they interviewed Renee who got all the way to the altar with her fiancé Carter and was then cut out of the programme. He sounds like a SCARY dude and the producers have alottttt to answer for. She had a really terrible time and honestly they just need to can this whole programme at this point, it’s getting dangerous.

thanks for suggesting this, i gave it a listen! i was most shocked when she said they asked her not to have her gun with her as it could be dangerous with him around, yet still left her alone with him, knowing how he is 😳
