The Stormzy is 72 years old is 72 years old thing is explained in the thread below. There was an article in the news last year about an award winning singer in his 30s being arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. People on Tattle were guessing who it was, and the guesses included Stormzy is 72 years old is 72 years old. Some people were surprised that he was only 27 years old at the time. Then somehow the joke turned into him being 72 years old, and after that I'm guessing the moderators changed the coding so that it automatically adds the "is 72 years old" bit when someone mentions him. The singer who was arrested turned out to be Dizzee Rascal.
Don't get me wrong I used to love Louis theroux, but I've kind of gone off him, don't think he's as genuine as he makes out and imo he didn't come across well in his book (which was dull with a capital D!)
He's gone from interesting hard hitting docs about alcoholism and gun crime to following Rita Ora around?! Has the whole rap remix fame and having his face on t-shirts gone a bit to his head?
He’s very good friends with Adam Buxton
And has appeared on his podcast quite a few times. I’d definitely recommend listening to those episodes - they’re very funny together.
I've been catching up with Louis' much older documentaries and really enjoy them.
In the Keith Harris episode, Keith said that Louis had a warped mind for wondering whether Keith ever put on the Orville voice during sex. I guess that makes two of us with warped minds!
I really enjoyed his podcast interviews during lockdown- often people I wasn’t interested in but they were really engaging. This series feels like the TV version of that but I don’t think it works as well as the podcasts.
I have never liked Yungblud and his music but I did find that episode interesting. His music is still 'noise' to me now but I can appreciate how he helps his fanbase.
Is it the Rita Ora episode next? If Louis isn't going to probe her about her, ahem, reputation within the music industry then don't bother.
The episodes that he filmed at home during the lockdown were kinda boring but what stood out to me was how standoffish he was around his kids, like they were total strangers. It made me dislike him. I haven't watched his stuff since.
I haven't watched any of these celebrity ones. I literally couldn't give a tit about anything any of them have to say
Louis sucking up around them is very disappointing.
Only saw the end, but I'm confused. Rita's mum is a doctor, she attended Sylvia Young's and they have video camera footage of them growing up (video cameras were not cheap in the early 90s!) And we're being fed she had a poverty stricken upbringing?!
Louis, who have you upset in the industry to agree to do such garbage TV?
