Loose Women #5

Yeah I know, me too 😂 I don’t normally feel sorry for her, she annoys the Fook out of me but today she just looked really pathetic which made me feel a bit sad. It depends who else is on the panel as to how much she is involved but to be honest she says the same anecdotes over and over so don’t actually blame them 😞

What was the actual F-ing point of Linda being there again today 😡 I ended up feeling a bit sorry for her 🙄 she couldn’t get a word in with the other 3 dominating their views on each topic. I would say she had about 10 secs at the end of each segment at the most. I’d have been fuming by the end if I was her 😏
I didn't see it but I doubt she cares. Very easy money and I don't think she's concerned about reputation.

Has Janet Street-Porter died?

edit: I think people are joking.

edit 2: Okay they're defo taking the piss.

So, if any of you here saw my posts on the last thread, you'll know I've been posting updates on how the tickets are selling for Coleen's upcoming solo tour. Here's November's update!

Blackpool - 90% sold
Bolton - 25% sold
Dundee - 10% sold
Aberdeen - 20% sold
Stockport - 25% sold
London - 90% sold
St Helens - 50% sold
Northampton - 40% sold
Barrow - 5% sold (61 tickets, to be exact!)
Eastbourne - 50% sold
Felixstowe - 20% sold
Sunderland - 50% sold
Rhyl - 15% sold
Wirral - 30% sold
Bournemouth - 25% sold
Swansea - 30% sold

Bearing in mind that these are just guesstimations after checking each venue's seating plan - tickets have been selling for certain dates. She's opened up brand new sections in Blackpool, Northampton and Eastbourne, and I can see her doing the same for London too.

Blackpool and London I think are guaranteed sell-outs come the beginning of the tour in February, but Barrow I think is near-certain to be cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances" or some other excuse. Can see other dates suffering the same fate. Basically, every date sans Blackpool and London has entire rows (literally) of unsold tickets remaining.

Quoting my own post, but here's December's update for Coleen's tour:

Blackpool - 95% sold
Bolton - 25% sold
Dundee - 15% sold
Aberdeen - 15% sold
Stockport - 30% sold
London - 50% sold
St Helens - 60% sold
Northampton - 60% sold
Barrow - 5% sold (83 tickets, to be exact!)
Eastbourne - 50% sold
Felixstowe - 25% sold
Sunderland - 40% sold
Rhyl - 20% sold
Wirral - 30% sold
Bournemouth - 30% sold
Swansea - 30% sold

Bearing in mind these are just guesstimations after checking each venue's seating plan... I don't really know what to say here. After a relatively strong showing in the last update I posted, London has either had an influx of returns or they've opened up new seats in the same section, and Barrow continues to be the worst performing date, with both Scottish dates not far behind. Otherwise, tickets haven't really sold much at all in a month. Perhaps Xmas will give her tour a boost lol.

Literally the only date that looks good right now is Blackpool, and the vast majority of seats remaining are in the upper circle (which was opened last month). She should've just done a one-night only here, tbh.

I strongly suspect cancellations/reschedules are imminent.

Quoting my own post again - but instead of waiting until mid-January to post an update, I thought I'd give you all a post-Xmas update on how tickets for Coleen's tour (mostly) aren't selling:

Blackpool - 95% sold
Bolton - 35% sold
Dundee - 20% sold
Aberdeen - 20% sold
Stockport - 30% sold
London - 40% sold
St Helens - 60% sold
Northampton - 50% sold
Barrow - 10% sold (104 tickets, to be exact)
Eastbourne - 50% sold
Felixstowe - 30% sold
Sunderland - 45% sold
Rhyl - 20% sold
Wirral - 30% sold
Bournemouth - 35% sold
Swansea - 30% sold

I know this is only a couple of weeks after the last update and that these are just guesstimations based on checking each venue's seating plan - but I'm sure she's either had an influx of returns or they've opened up seats that weren't for sale in my last couple of updates, as I've mentioned before. Even Blackpool looks like it's had more tickets added (or tickets returned).

Pretty much every date on this tour is going to be cancelled, rescheduled, or ticket holders will be moved closer to the stage, because in almost every date there are entire rows of unsold tickets remaining.

I'll check again in mid-January. I wonder if all of these dates will still be on sale, or if she'd have cancelled them by then.

Coleen mentioned last week she had given up cigarettes but she was being tested due to stressful times. I thought it was about her philandering son but it might be her tour sales too. A real kick in the teeth for the ego. Her popularity is Blackpool in the main.

LW are doing a recap of the year. Cue Linda getting into a paddling pool in swimming costume with Jake Quickendon for an item, where she looks distressed in a mock way. She said she had wet herself. I don’t think she was joking. And the production team and her colleagues on the panel think it is highly hilarious enough to show it on the end of year recap. She is grotesque but the production encourage her to be more and more repellant. They must think viewers find her appealing. They are treating her as the performing freak.

Been surprised by Sue Cleaver (Eileen in Corrie) on LW this week. I thought she was awful when she was in the Jungle but she seems a different person on there.

She’s been on before as a Loose Woman panellist towards the end of last year but yes she’s really quite a natural. She has interesting things to say, she contributes well to the conversations and she’s good with the guests. She probably can’t do it regularly due to her Corrie commitments but wouldn’t mind seeing more of her on the panel

I'd never heard of her but she's a significant improvement on Nadia Sawalha.

So, it's that time of the month again - let's take a look at how tickets for Coleen's tour are doing:

Blackpool - 98% sold
Bolton - 35% sold
Dundee - 35% sold
Aberdeen - 20% sold
Stockport - 35% sold
London - 40% sold
St Helens - 75% sold
Northampton - 50% sold
Barrow - 15% sold (113 tickets, to be exact)
Eastbourne - 60% sold
Felixstowe - 35% sold
Sunderland - 50% sold
Rhyl - 20% sold
Wirral - 35% sold
Bournemouth - 35% sold
Swansea - 35% sold

So, with three weeks left until her tour begins - I'm gobsmacked that she hasn't cancelled, postponed or rescheduled some of these. Dundee appears to have had a boost, and St Helens. Although these are just guesstimations based on each venue's seating plan, she should've just done a one-night-only in Blackpool, and arguably St Helens. And I'm sure some of these venues are adding more and more tickets the closer it gets to show time, either that or are having an influx of returns.

My next update will be the day before the tour begins, so I'll see you in three weeks' time!

I noticed they were trying to drum up interest on LW last week, saying it’s not just her standing up and talking, it’s a concert, she’s singing etc.
