Jane is selling her Battersea home for £4.5 000 000, 000. Wow. That's £1 000, 000, 000 more than Ruth's house was up for sale for. These women are not like us. They pretend to be women of the people but their lifestyles are worlds apart.

This is what Jane's other employer, The Sun has printed about Sophie and she is not happy. She's branded it ableist.

If I had 4.5 mill to spare I would be buying myself a plot of land somewhere, not spending it in Battersea. Most of these panellists are rich beyond most people’s wildest dreams. TV pays very well, even now. Linda Robson has a house in Islington. That will be worth a bit too. She talks sometimes about her daughter living in a council place and struggling to get on the property ladder, but her kids have an inheritance coming their way at some point. She is an illustration in point, rubbish actress, crap presenter but coining it in. She is as poor as a church mouse in comparison to Kaye, Janet, Jayne, Penny, Christine and Gloria. Even Carol McGiffin has a flat in London and a house in France, with loads of holidays. It’s lucrative being on telly.

Blimey! They may have offered to help her financially and she might have said no. I am trying to play devils advocate- I don’t know much about her or her husband, do they get on with the ma in law?

They kind of get on. The husband is always mocking her. Nadia can be very passive aggressive towards her. She has a problem with a fungal toe that they could pay to have fixed, but so far, have not.

If I was her, I'd put £20k or so aside each for my kids and spend the rest myself, with also buying them an occasional treat.
Yeh inagree, obviously it.is totally unfair for people without parents who can help but for most people nowadays this is the only way of getting on the property ladder (especially in London). I don't have children but u cannot imagine having the money to help them and not doing so

According to zoopla, Linda’s house is worth between 1.7 million and 2 million. Might be mortgaged of course.
She says her husband works in a medical centre (not as a GP). I don't understand why he would carry on doing a job like that for minimum wage, when his wife is a multi millionaire. It's the same when Andrea McLean used to say her husband was a carpenter. I don't understand it unless it is a job that's also a passion, like being a musician. I think they pretend their other halves do these mundane jobs to make them sound more relatable.

He was a Window Cleaner when she met him but read this a couple of years ago - he now runs Children’s Books, a bookshop where 99% of the books cost £1. My kids love to help out there – we all do. He’s won awards and we couldn’t be more proud. Lots of kids come in after school and Mark ends up giving more books away than he sells

I can't see this on the Mail website. Has it been removed?
