I find Kelly Holmes sounds increasingly nervous on the show. She seems to get dry mouthed and like the words can't get out.
I’m sure she’s a nice woman and all the rest of it, but I don’t think she’s very bright?

She’s a less gregarious, personality-free version of Linda Robson, in that she often seems to put her foot in it and doesn’t contribute much to the discussion.

Although it is great that they finally have someone who is gay on the panel, I wish it would be anybody else but her.

She has to look at her notes a lot to remember her opinion.

Also fed up of hearing about Janet's sex life/affairs for the millionth time.

She is probably overpowered by Linda.

Don’t you find it strange they didn’t mention the earthquake in Turkey?

Each time someone farted in Ukraine thru mentioned it.

Saying that I wouldn’t want to hear Linda talking about a live event.

Jane came back from holiday, and her mother had a fall and was in hospital so she has spent a week dealing with that. Any holiday glow evaporated because of that.

Not Kelle’s greatest fan but I think she spoke eloquently today, summing up the Begum story well, as did Jane.

So very late to post this but it still annoys me, so I shall vent!

A few weeks ago, the panel were talking about retirement and how the retirement age might be raised and how some people can't afford to retire or might not want to etc etc.

Gloria - who I am getting increasingly annoyed with - chimes in about how when people retire they "go on holiday for 3 months or play golf".

I just remember getting so bloody annoyed at this throwaway comment from her.

Now I fully understand that there will be many people that retire who do (and can) go on to play golf or go on epic long 3 month holidays and no doubt Gloria was speaking about people from her social circle or who have the same wealth as her.

My annoyance was that she said it as if it's an option that we ALL have and as if it's the norm, whereas the majority of people will just be happy to afford to still eat and live when they retire, nevermind anything else.

I just found it so out of touch for the majority of the LW target audience (myself included) who are not wealthy or experience the same privileges as Gloria obviously does.

Later on (I think in another episode) they were talking about how often you should wash pyjamas and she mentioned something about sending laundry "out" to get done.

Again, as if it's something that we all do.

I've noticed the panel normally go a bit quiet when she's made remarks that clearly show her privilege, probably cos they realise it's not entirely relatable.

Agree with you. I commented at the time. Ridiculously out of touch.

Was Linda Robson's sister a PA to June Whitfield?
