Forgot it was Loose Men today. It's got the dreadful Jake Quickenden on it today. He's such a fame hungry you know what. Not sure I'll get through an hour.

Jake isn’t one of the panellists, it looks as though he’s just there for demonstration purposes for Doctor Amir to show how to self examine your testicles for signs of testicular cancer

Some of the LW are posting about how amazing Charlene is. She won't see what people's problem is because "I said I'd sleep in the hammock". ITV has removed all the negative comments from the IAC Instagram posts - 99% of them were mocking the impartiality nonsense.

Crikey. The LW Facebook post came up in my feed - I don't even follow or 'like' it - and the comments are so bad. The jungle stint has really backfired for her but ITV will protect her. Plus, there are enough dozy people who will just clap like seals in the audience while she's on and the panel will reinflate her ego.

Charlene isn’t a good anchor on Loose Women, nor is she particularly good as a newsreader. But she has such a high regard for herself, because ITV are pushing her. She has very little warmth about her, even when she was crying, I didn’t really feel that sorry for her. She is somebody you would tolerate in the camp but not like.

I didn't watch it as I don't like the show but her being mean or whatever to Hancock I would view as fine , he is objectively awful let's be honest. I was just surprised she even went on it, as I have said before, as an apparently serious journalist (and with a job) I don't get why you would even bother. I thought most people that went on were people trying to boost their careers

Boost careers and/or money.

Probably thought she’d win, her speech the night before she said, it won’t be the same in here when someone leave tomorrow.

This is my opinion on Charlene's departure that I posted on the I'm a Celeb thread. Only my take on it though.
It seemed to me that Charlene had possibly been called to the Bush telegraph & warned that her decision not to sleep in the RV was going down very badly with the public. Her 'remaining impartial' & 'journalism is my first job' weak excuses were very recent & she repeated those phrases constantly during her exit interview. It sounded like she'd been told what to say by ITV as a PR damage limitation explanation.
Or maybe I'm too suspicious!!🤷‍♀️

Eyerolling at Charlene thinking she is a serious journalist. She reads the autocue on the news and discusses high brow subjects like what the state of your kitchen cupboards say about you or are summer holidays better than winter breaks on Loose Women. She is hardly Laura Kunsburg.

I wondered that as it became parrot fashion when before, it was all about spiders. 🙄
