Great to see her back!
Pleased to see they haven't mentioned dealing with the grief etc, for her sake more than anything, think they did it the right way, with the interview yesterday

The way they did it was the best way, get it all out there in a different environment away from the Loose Women studio with a colleague she can trust and a small crew filming it. If her first introduction back was straight into the studio she would have felt under the spotlight with everyone watching and part of the show revolving around her

This way her first proper day back was just a normal show and everyone acting as they always do and it wasn’t focussed on her too much

Brenda will be back tomorrow as a panellist. She has done an interview with Coleen which will air on today’s show as to why she wants to come back and she’ll be back live in the studio on Tuesday ❤
Brenda was raised as a Christian. Hopefully her faith will have helped her find comfort. Bereavement is difficult but keeping busy and having a purpose helps. I'll check ITVHub for the interview. I do wonder if drugs or vaccine injury were the problem that caused Jamal's heart attack.

Frankie's hair looks much better straight. The spiders legs curls made it look dried up and straggly. I prefer Frankie to Stacey, she's much more likeable.

I was interested to see Ed Davey on the show yesterday. As usual, Charlene talked too much about her own experiences and didn't allow him enough time to speak. When he was introduced, one of the topics was about his ideas on how the care system could be improved. There was no time to cover that as a result of the ladies, mostly Charlene, dominating the conversation. He politely listened but wish he could have been given more time to cover such an important topic. Producers - please interrupt via the earpiece!! 🤐

I think that could have been a very interesting extended feature and done thing LW could raise awareness of. Though I'm in the bracket. I'm sick of menopause talk! 🙄

Ruth seems to be more playful and 'jokey' in the last few episodes. I don't know if it's better chemistry or she's just enjoying herself more. Whatever the reason, it's nice to see.
Didn't watch it today but I thought the same last week, thought it might have been to make Brenda feel welcomed back but maybe she knows something we don't. ;)

Carol, with her own personal agenda, it’s clear she doesn’t like Sturgeon, and she was desperate to show her up in a bad light. NS knew it too, but she’s wily. I am not a fan of Sturgeon, but even less of a fan of certain panellists with their agendas.

Good to see Judi back, I was wondering where she was. She brought up race in a completely natural way and appicable to the discussion when they were talking about whether words parents say to you when you are younger stick. She mentioned that lighter skinned kids were sometimes favoured. That was interesting and not just a random shoehorn of race into the discussion.
Agree about carol, you always know before she gives her opinion exactly what it will be, she is just like the daily mail
I am glad judi is back her opinions are always interesting and well thought out Imo, and her work background gives a different perspective

I feel so bad for Brenda. They reflected back to her eyebrow issue, that was just weeks before her son died. As someone who has lost someone dear, it is so painful watching footage/hearing about things that happened just before the loved one died. It makes me want to reach in the screen and save them. I found it insensitve but I am sure the producers never thought about it that way, you think about things differently though when you have lost someone you hold dearly.

Brenda would have said if she founds something insensitive. I doubt she gave it a second thought, it was just a light hearted snippet. I really admire Brenda. She has had the worse blow, on top of losing her parents when she was a nipper and her ill health, but she just keeps rolling. Her grief must be off the scale but she normal routines are helping her through.

I'm full of admiration for Brenda. She is so resilient and keeps on keeping on. It must be unimaginably difficult right now but it sounds like Jamal's business affairs are keeping her busy.
