First off gotta admit I loved this show. I initially watched Bodyguard also by Mercurio which lead me to Line of Duty. After the first episode I was hooked, although more slower and intentional than Bodyguard, LOD was just a total hook for me.
My question though; I live in Canada and I was super excited all seasons were up. I’m reading that S6 will start to air soon in the UK, but will us North Americans have to wait a year before it’s up on Netflix? I’m not sure how it happened with previous seasons.

Could you get one of those VPN things that makes your internet browser think you are in UK, so you could watch BBC Iplayer or something at same time as us over here?
 
Why did I read this thread! You lot have now put it into my head that Kate is H and I will not be able to watch the new series when it comes out thinking anything else but this 😂 Hope you are all wrong, as I love her and will be traumatised if it is, wee witch 😂

Still laugh at the time they were filming the raid on the nightclub outside our apartment a couple of years ago and Ted Hastings walked round the corner, my boyfriend shouted out the window ''Free Lynsey Dention''... He looked up and waved at us :ROFLMAO: I miss living in that apartment, we got to see the scenes with the range rovers pulling up outside and the wee man who got his throat sliced open going in and out of the old telegraph building they used in it too.. Also that apartment block was used in the newest season of Marcella.. always watched in anticipation you might get a wee clip of me in the background, for my 15 mins of fame, no such luck, :mad: such a nosey cow used to hang around the balcony doors and the front door :ROFLMAO:

Sorry for so many emoji's ... I literally get myself too excited when I think about LOD

100% but he’s like Teflon! I’ve binged all the series in the past few weeks & he’s dodgy AF, even if he’s not H (imo ☺️) I’ve just found this this thread & Kate is H...what?! gonna have to read the whole thread now cos I don’t see it but there are so many smarter people on here than I am! Can’t wait for S6!!!
 
**Spoilers 1-5**

My theory is it’s Kate.

Remember the OCG plant their own into the Police like Dot and Ryan. She was D.C. in series 1 but she was a trained AFO, UCO and in AC-12 with Hastings who is reminded he didn’t know Dot was bent. She interviews all the bent coppers and can stop them from talking.

If u look at Kate's actions they could be interpreted as dishonest. It was really Steve and Lindsay who got the job done in series 3. They were made to look either reckless or corrupt while Kate was whiter-than-white except we have: an extramarital affair not only dishonest but with the nearest and dearest of Sgt Akers who was in charge of Tommy Hunters protection. Unveiling of Dot as caddy looked like Kate but what if she wanted rid of him in case he spilled information? There was a scene of Dot texting the OCG to quit. Dying words? Kate translated them and it could be false. What if Akers phoned Kate because Kate had previously reached out to her knowing she worked in witness protection and might give her access to Hunter. Lindsay got the most important thing - Danny’s list, not Kate. Did she even try? No. Steve did. Kate is D.I. in series 5 and was in charge of the Eastfield Raid that went wrong (it would be Steve if he was promoted).
