I think other posters are right and H is Hillside, and it’s used to get the corrupt officers started, or for officers who have ‘turned’ like Gate’s for other reasons. Easier to keep them together rather calling attention to themselves in other areas.
Corbets wife deffo has a man living with her-possibly Hastings, but I think the money he gave her is going to come back and haunt him-officially and £50.000 does not go far if your not working and have a few big bills, she could be blackmailing him for a more regular income.
A bet of a petty concern but I was baffled that no one in the unit guessed that Jo and Farida were shagging. Jo would be good at keeping it on the DL, Farida not so much, also everyone knows who’s shagging who at work via osmosis.

I used to think Hastings gave her the money out of the goodness of his heart, feeling guilty etc but now I think he just gave it to her to get rid of it cos it links him to the OCG. If she was caught with it it would be more credible considering her husband was a bent copper in the OCG. I think Ted would be looking after his own interests

Can people give me more of a reminder of who Ryan is? I know he graduated as policeman at end of last season and was obviously a bad guy infiltrating, but can't remember him too much.
 
i watched season 1 again. The copper that is meant to influenced Ryan (Ryan mentioned his name in his police college interview) to join the doesnt sit right.

The copper knows he's associated with gangs and gave Ryan his card and asked him to call him if he ever wanted a burger,...Wouldn't surprise me if he's in this season and bent!

Simon Banerjee. He's apparently a regular in Casualty so I'm not sure if he'll make an appearance but I'd mentioned I thought it was weird they referenced the relationship if he played no questionable part in Ryan's story.

I think it was more that he was a neighbourhood police officer, And felt sorry for Ryan cos he was a little kid who’s mum didn’t give a flying fig about him and was clearly getting in tit. I think it was more about trying to influence him to go the right way rather than to corrupt him. Ryan was already involved with the OCG when he was being dealt with by the PC
 
Buckells interviewed Ryan 9 years ago and maybe he genuinely can’t recall/wasn’t paying the “kid” any attention. Ryan was just another little toe rag from the estate and he’d never expect him be a police officer. Kate recognised him but she interviews non-civilians.

I think Joanne will shift the blame and throw Buckells under the bus. I honestly don’t think he’s a bent copper - just an incredibly tit/lucky one.
