For the benefit of the DIR, I watched it in slow-mo and she kisses Martin, Craig hugs them both then Martin is talking to Patrick Baladi and she must have said something as Martin turns back to her before it cuts away.

Interview terminated.

I did wonder why she went up on stage with them all, thought fair enough she is his wife I guess. But then dusting him down, kissing him and then sobbing into a tissue directly behind him while he spokeā€¦ it was a bit much šŸ˜‚
I didn't even see it just saw some clips but it sounds like she was drunk. I hope he asked her to go up there and she didn't just take it upon herself šŸ™ˆ

Hope his is truešŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤ž

Kinda LOD related!

Trigger Point will be released in January 2022 on ITV (date TBC) starring Vicky McClure and Adrian Lester, written by Daniel Brierley.

It looks promising. Itā€™s the first time Jed Mercurio (Bodies, Line of Duty, Bodyguard) has chosen to mentor a promising new writer 1-to-1 through the whole process. Brierley envisioned Vicky McClure as the lead character and was thrilled to secure her. Itā€™s produced through Mercurioā€™s production company HTM Television with valuable input from the same Bomb Disposal advisors he worked with on Bodyguard.

Synopsis
____x____
ā€œTrigger Point is a six-part thriller for ITV about the work of the Metropolitan Police Bomb Disposal Squad during a summer bombing campaign.

Lana Washington (Vicky McClure) and Joel Nutkins (Adrian Lester) are ex-military and work as frontline Expos who put their lives on the long walk to danger. Lana is reckless and out of control and is pushed to breaking point dealing with a series of improvised explosive devices that threaten London.

Escalating fatalities put Lana and Joel under extreme pressure and Lana canā€™t help but become suspicious that the bomber is deliberately targeting their unit. Itā€™s a terrifying thought, but against all odds how can she prove it and discover the bomberā€™s real identity?ā€.

Trigger Point will be brilliant because of Vicky McClure, even if it is ITV.

if anyone has Amazon Prime (IMDB TV) or it should be on All4, the TV adaption of Alex Rider has Vicky in it, and she makes me question my homosexuality.

And it's a great show I highly recommend full stop.

Alex Rider is a great series I loved it and binged watched season 2 in 1.5 days. Vicky is so fierce as Mrs Jones I love how she scowls at the men and struts round in her Louboutins. She makes me question my heterosexuality šŸ˜³šŸ˜šŸ”„

Ahhhh god even Vicky couldnā€™t rescue Alex Rider for me, loved the books as a kid but thought the series was soooooo cheesy. Didnā€™t even know there was a second series out!

It looks like ITV are trying to poach Jed Mercurio from the BBC to enhance their 2022 Drama slate. He chose to mentor the writer via the TV SkillsShare bursary and Trigger Point was the result of their collaboration.

ITV also offered Vicky McClure her dream TV deal to produce and star in her own show in Nottingham with local talent from her childhood drama workshop.
