Anyone fancy placing their final “bets” on the mystery relative? All in fun as I’m sure I’ll be totally wrong, presumably there can only be the one 😂

I’ll hide mine behind a spoiler for anyone who doesn’t want to speculate

Andrew Laverty. I’m not even really sure why other than Jackie (sort of) reappearing! Logic tells me Hunter really but I feel like it’s just too obvious and that’s what Jed wants us to think 😂

Ok now nobody shoot me down in flames here.....but in all the furore up thread, did we actually establish whether or not John Corbett could be classed as a nominal? I know that he was a police officer and therefore shouldn't show up as a nominal, but if he was working so deep undercover that records were erased/doctored to protect his identity, is there any chance that he could appear on the PNC database as a nominal?

Just asking for a friend! 🤣

Also is there any chance that DNA evidence or records could've been tampered with, to fit someone up?

I really hope she isn’t H. I want it to be someone we’ve known of for way longer, someone we know better and also someone lower down the police ranks, so it’s more shocking that they’ve been in control this whole time. Carmichael, Wise or Sindhwani is way too obvious for me and hopefully for Jed. Especially after Gill Biggeloe last series.

His police record was wiped when he went undercover, so it's possible. It might even have been mentioned specifically so they can refer back to it at this point. Chloe can turn around and say "but John Corbett was a police officer, he wouldn't be on the nominal database", and Ted can explain, "well actually, his police record was wiped to make his cover believable and he was in here as a criminal".
But they'd have to do some jiggery pokery about what happened to his record after he died.

I’m pretty sure someone worked out she can’t have the same mum as JC because the ages/dates don’t match up. Same dad though maybe?

I’ll put mine in spoilers as well, I’ll be honest I’ve got three guesses so it’s hardly conclusive 😂 but I’ll put them in order.

1 Andrew Laverty
2 Tommy Hunter
3 Terry Boyle
 
Right, I know we have been over the nominal thing again and again 🤪 but when someone from the police is killed do they remain on the police database? Or could they be moved to the nominal 1? Maybe I'm just being stupid...but I keep thinking it'll be someone in a previous series that has been corrupt and killed.
Also, when I watched gogglebox on Friday I had the subtitles on and it showed up as "it's identified over the page" when Steve was discussing the dna to Ted...so a female is still a possibility 🤔
Roll on 9pm!!!

I have to admit I’m not sure what would happen to them, but I assumed from the way Steve described them that it was a nominal as in someone known to the police for whatever reason. I just think it was an odd way to phrase it if it was an ex/dead/corrupt officer. I may turn out to be wrong though, this is LoD after all! 🤣

I noticed the same on Gogglebox though! But then I’ve also seen a lot of people say that Jed ensures all the subtitles are accurate. Ugh, this day is dragging 🤯😂
