The general consensus seems to be that Series 4 was the weakest. I do concur but two of my most memorable LOD moments (across all series) involved Roz Huntley. I won't say which exactly, just in case anyone is currently watching S4 for the first time, but for some reason they've really stuck in my mind.

From day one I've watched it all as it aired, so I've always had to wait a week between episodes, but I swear that the weeks are so much longer this time around....it's just taking foreeeeeever for Sundays to roll around.

I’ve also watched it from the start, I saw the advert and saw ‘Lol’ (this is England) was in it and decided to give it a whirl. Never did I think I would count down the days till the next episode and spend Sunday nights down rabbit holes trying to figure things out 😂 This is a programme that you can re watch multiple times and never get bored. So much happens over the series that you forget certain things and the things you do remember still have you jumping and shouting at the Tv.

Definitely!

In the early days (pre-Tattle) I didn't know anyone else that was watching, except my OH (who basically had no choice!) I found it really frustrating, not being able to discuss it with friends, family, colleagues etc.

Now that a lot more people have jumped aboard the LOD party bus and it seems like everyone's talking about it, it's more bloody frustrating than ever! So many different perspectives, observations, theories etc - I love it but it doesn't half make my head hurt!

So ivr started from the beginning again and finished season 2- does anyone feel there was so much emphasis on Carly Kirk and her storyline and doesn’t get mentioned in seasons 3,4,5 ?? Poissbily season 6
I posted a picture of Ryan’s record at the bottom it says he was seen going into Terry’s flat with Carly and Dean. Could this Carly be Carly Kirk?

On Terry Boyle's profile page on the LOD Wikia Fandom site it says that the "Carly" character seen there with Ryan is not to be confused with Carly Kirk.....BUT on Ryan's profile page, when the same scene is referenced it links the 'mystery' Carly's name to Carly Kirk's profile page (by mistake maybe?

I'm not sure if they're one in the same person but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if the 'real' Carly (Kirk) popped up again.

The scene in question was in series 1 ep 4. Anyone watched it recently? 🤔

I love Daniel Mays and Will Mellor so I liked series 3. Denton pissed me off, I didn't like her but also don't agree with how she was treated in prison. To be fair I think she made a wrong decision and then wanted to out things right to get her job back -to be honest I never understood why she needed the money to pay for her mums care as the local authority should have been paying if the mum had no assets.

I think series 4 had some incredible moments - Steve being injured and the end of episode one was bloody amazing. Also what happened to Georgia (?) in series 2 was a "JESUS CHRIST" moments for me.

I'm still recovering from that hospital scene, a fully grown woman being thrown out of a god knows what floor window 😭

Yeah, that was a proper shocker 😱😱😱😱

As far as Denton is concerned, I can see the “made one bad decision and everything fell to tit from there” perspective but she still tried to make Dryden the fall guy just for revenge. Though I did live her scheming. Shouting “ You COW!!”at the screen multiple times 😂😂😂😂

I haven’t watched it recently (I might have to) but did do a bit of digging when this came up earlier in the thread (or maybe the last thread, we move fast 🤣). On IMDb it’s listed as two different actresses, so I think maybe just two different Carlys. I’d be surprised if Carly Kirk doesn’t pop up again though, or at least something related to her!

I watched it last week and if it’s the same girl who slaps him across the face while the lad pisses in the plants it’s a diff actress

We haven't had a sympathetic character death yet this season, have we? I was expecting it to be Terry but somehow, he is still apparently alive...

I really thought Terry was a goner! I felt like the way Jonesy was killed was meant to make us feel really bad for her, but we hadn’t seen her before so it didn’t have quite the same effect (and I was relieved when the shrine podcast said the same thing haha).
