Here's a mind-boggling idea - suppose Jo is like John Corbett, so deep under cover to root out bent coppers that virtually nobody knows, not even AC12. And certainly not Wise and Sindrahni. The OCG think she's theirs but she isn't. Or is that too much like Series 5?
I thought you had written "suppose Jo IS John Corbett" and I genuinely concluded that, yes, we've definitely all lost our marbles now🤣🤣

I like that theory, but I dunno if Jed would go back and almost redo a storyline so close to the last

I think it could be, with the twist of her then having this dodgy relative so AC12 (and Kate?) become totally convinced she’s bent and end up putting them all in danger. If so, unlike Corbett she’s clearly really struggling with it and crumbling which distinguishes it a bit.

Rewatched series 1, started on series 2 and to be honest, I think I’m even more confused than I was before. Stopped to watch the US Circle at 9 so missed Gogglebox but that’s on the watch list for tomorrow. There was someone in season 2 who I thought ‘Oh hang on, you’re connected‘ but I can’t remember for the life of me who it was. My brain is fried after a tough week at work 🤦🏻‍♀️

I don’t normally watch Gogglebox but caught it tonight. Was brilliant seeing their reactions 🤣🤣

What’s everyone’s favourite series? I’ve been watching it all from the start and currently watching series 4. For me, I think series 2 and 3. 3 is especially good watching Dot orchestrate everything, Lindsey returns, Steve in prison, the finale chase between Dot and Kate. Amazing stuff.

i still think it’s brilliant but it made me miss the old characters like dot and Lindsay. I don’t think there will be another great character like Dot

Series 5 for me. I love Lisa McQueen and John Corbett.

The reveal where it's him as the UCO not Lisa is brilliant, and the episode where he is killed is so dramatic and and so well done even though I hate the fact he was killed off 😭

youre so right it was a shame he was killed off I think Stephen Graham is an incredible actor. Haven’t got up to 5 yet so I’m excited to rewatch it again.

Just finished series 4 rewatch and it’s definitely my least favourite. I didn’t ever feel invested in Roz Huntley I wasn’t particularly interested by her character at all. Every other main character; tony gates, Lindsay, Danny Waldron, I’ve rooted for them all in different ways but Roz just felt a bit flat to me

Series 2 and 3 were definitely my favourites, especially the last 15 minutes, when Dot is rescued from the interview room and Kate chases the getaway car on foot. I kept forgetting to breath! Ooh, I think I'm going to have to go and watch it again! Series 4 was a bit of a let down, even though it was the one where Steve almost died.

Series 2 was my fave, with 3 a close second. And also as it wasn’t as popular back then and on midweek could avoid the spoilers if I didn’t watch it the night it was on 😂 My partner works nights and he got me into it so I don’t watch it until we can watch it together.

Thank god he’s off on Sunday this week tho or I’d be screwed.

The general consensus seems to be that Series 4 was the weakest. I do agree but two of my most memorable LOD moments (across all series) involved Roz Huntley. I won't say which exactly, just in case anyone is currently watching S4 for the first time, but for some reason they've really stuck in my mind.

From day one I've watched it all as it aired, so I've always had to wait a week between episodes, but I swear that the weeks are so much longer this time around....it's just taking foreeeeeever for Sundays to roll around.
