Tommy was head of the OCG then he became a police informant whilst he was in witness protection but still up to his dodgy business. Therefore he crossed the OCG and wanted him called (Dot ordered it)

if jo is related to Tommy then I don’t see how the OCG could control her. Furthermore how does it tie in with Gails murder?

Could be "wider database" as the person is now deceased. EG John Corbett. She is 100000% John Corbetts sister. That's why Steph was so heavily involved in the series to begin with. When Lakewell nodded to Steve re; "I haven't said anything have I Steve", I think it's cus he has told Steve who the final "H" is, and they were in the room at that time. Or watching behind the camera.

It can’t be anyone who was employed in the police as Steve said it was on the wider database - so Dryden, Danny, John Corbett are all out.

It’s either a criminal (TOMMY HUNTER) or someone who provided DNA for other reasons (a victim of a crime? I don’t know).

I’m holding out for this, i said a while back could he still be alive!

I was convinced he was still alive but rewatched the series he was killed in the ambush and now think he has to be dead ... unless they swapped him for someone else in hospital? He was definitely shot and burned.
