What if it's Steph I think it has to be Tommy Hunter to bring it full circle - he's the one that makes most sense with not being a police officer but on the system. (Although does witness protection make a difference to this being easily found in the database?) Maybe something went down with her mum when she was young and Jo thought she'd do good and go into the police to redeem it? A wild part of me wants it to be Ted The only reason I'm reluctant that it's Corbett is why? What would that bring to the plot?

I now suspect Chloe is involved, swapping with that officer so she was out of the shot line and then Jimmy doing a pointed look to Steve while making sure everyone in the room knew he did not tell on anyone. Jo kept the keys to Farida’s and until this point I assumed it was her that planted the phones-but nothing to stop her giving the keys to some else to do the dirty deeds. Jo could really be related to anyone at this point, and since the vetting process definitely needs some improvement I think it is Tommy Hunter, or massive wild card Gail Vella-around the same age, could be sisters.

Jimmy also kept calling her Chloe, but maybe he was just being a dick.
Ryan's mum is listed as his next of kin in his file. Just thinking - what if she's related to Jackie Laverty?
