Thought Camilla was in for Tom. Cool to see Maajid though, will tune in at some point. Late night speech radio on weekdays is a bit lacking even though it could be great. Can't stand Whale at Talk and from when I've tuned into Swarbrick, he just seems a bit boring, they need someone who can inject a bit more personality and a slightly lighter style to the slot.
 
Dubonnet is nice, reddish colour, the old Queen Mother loved her Gin & Dubonnet....what is Dubonnet?

Dubonnet is a mix of fortified wine, sweet herbs & spices.

Another excellent effort from Nick Ferrari. But already James O'Brien has fumbled the ball by whingeing that Domimic Raab has blocked him on twitter. He of course blocks loads including some on here via his bulk blocking!
Anyway time for me to join the first audience decline of the LBC day.

I had aunties who liked Dubonnet and bitter lemon. Perhaps Steve could try that?

Jobby has a bad track record of backing the wrong horses.
Carl Beech....Hancock...Raab...and now Cox...
 
When Steve mentions how as soon as his head hits the pillow he's asleep, I get envious haha. I am 35 years younger than he is and I struggle to get to sleep, and sometimes stay asleep haha. Lucky sod. He also mentions how he doesn't get headaches. What kind of sorcery is this? 😄

There was a spell where it was a regular subject and James used to refer to his experience of breastfeeding as "we". He used to lecture women on the subject and made more than a few rather uncomfortable. Some suggested he should do a programme with LBC's ( now departed) Head Girl.
 
Steve needs to relax. He does go close to the bone with some things he says. This morning was the same in the first half hour or so. Haha. He must think he's teflon or something. Katie Price and the guy from the sex pistols were two targets 😅

Not sure anyone is going to query anything Steve says about Katie Price. The woman is a menace and the sooner she gets a jail sentence the better.

It's her ex husbands fault she has mental health issues. The woman is waiting trial for her drink/drug driving and is busy pretending everything is brilliant she's buying house in Vegas. She makes me so angry.

On a different note, James' monologues are reaching ridiculous lengths now. It's called LBC, Leading Britiain's Conversation not James O'Brien's Hour to pontificate. Shelagh manages to set the tone and her opinion very succinctly then gets straight to callers.

Don't know about James any longer. I don't bother listening to his show any more 😄 thank goodness. My sanity is better for it. Haha.

James is carrying ever more baggage. It is not so much his views as I used to enjoy Ken Livingstone back in the day as he put on a good show. But James claims to cover facts and then behaves like he has with Dominic Cummings. When did Dom switch from being an appalling liar we should ignore and be appalled by to someone we should believe every word of?
