James and Brexit again. He really reminds me of someone who can't deal with the fact that their partner has walked out on them for someone else and the only way to keep a connection to the person is by talking about them constantly. Why do I say that? Because it reminds me of myself a few years ago! Thankfully I moved on ... eventually. I can't see James ever moving on. :rolleyes:

I caught most of Ferrari this morning and he had that awful Charlotte Proudman on and then some caller who was very angry at Ben Wallace wearing a camouflage jacket. I thought I can't take much more of this ... Then it got to 10 am and by time we got to 1015 JOB had all but said Brexit was responsible for the war in Ukraine.

Reader, I turned off ....


As an aside, I was food shopping in M&S today and one member of staff was busy saying she had no idea why the media was going nuts about fruit and veg because they had loads and she was right. The shelves were well stocked. I haven't had an issue tbh. I did hear a ridiculous story about someone trying to buy a 100 cucumbers ... who the hell needs a 100 cucumbers? 🤪

Who's paying for it, and the team of lawyers. I doubt if her appearance fees cover the latter.

I think that James thought Brexit would be his path to recognition. But the adulation of his dreams has been replaced by a reality of desperately searching for an empty supermarket aisle in order to score a point, followed by tweeting stuff like this.

I have no legal qualifications, but I wonder if she could sue him for something - putting words into her mouth (I know that isn't a legal term!). She obviously said those words but they are being used out of context. It maybe something that she would not have said in one of his statements.

I honesty do think that in his mind he does see himself as some sort of intellectual, sadly for James apart from the odd (in both meanings of the word) sychopant he's the only one that does.

As for the Laura K comments being taken down ... again, the cowardice. Having the courage to stand by your convictions is a sign of character (even if your convictions are hateful). :cautious:
