A chance to slag off Boris and Brexit. Jobby's cup runneth over. His mic must be covered in vitriolic spittle. Clicky off.

I quite enjoyed it untill the inevitable book plug. That's a real turn-off for me. Oh and the sychophantic callers.

Did someone get cut off on Ferrari's show this morning? About 8:30am ... he was about to talk about the British Army but before he could it went straight to commercials...

James is very bitter about the BBC isn't he?

Does he realise, without LBC he'd have no platform? He's no Kuensberg, Maitlis or Peston ... If LBC ever ditched him where would he end up? Podcast hell I would assume.

I had been wondering about Simon Conway who has not read the news for the breakfast show for the past few weeks. According to his tweet he has stepped down from breakfast news after 6+ years. He is staying with Global.

BTW Global’s Newsroom in London is looking for an experienced broadcast journalist to join our rolling news station, LBC News.

I think he's very bitter full stop. Today he's projecting onto the BBC ... Thankfully we have the option to tune out (which we often do). Of course, as we all know, James does also enjoy belittling accomplished successful women whenever he can. :cautious: His self-loathing drips through the radio, after I've listened I have to wipe it down.

It must be a rough time for his production staff. Having to drop callers who mention recent UK economic figures plus those who point out there are Tomato shortages in Ireland and Belgium. Plus the one so long-running that the paper on the notice board is yellowing. No mention of Airbus in the UK in the hope that people will be silly enough to believe it did leave...

You are right. James always seems to take aim at women who are more successful than him.

I happened to catch a caller called Liz who gave him a very good run for his money and he got quite irate and flustered. The discussion was about Shamima Begum and whether she was just an innocent victim of child trafficking/prostitution. She has said sorry for everything so what's the problem..?? Ah..dastardly racism! Liz was measured and assertive and challenged James on his agenda so the inevitable patronising started. He really can't bear intelligent women..Good distraction prior to my appointment with the dentist's drill!

Just watched that clip of James using a single clip of Laura K. I have no legal qualifications, but I wonder if she could sue him for something - putting words into her mouth (I know that isn't a legal term!). She obviously said those words but they are being used out of context. It maybe something that she would not have said in one of his statements.

To use one of Nick F's ideas where he pretends he is the guilty party. So if someone said to me "how's your wife" and I replied "We made love last night". Then JO'B comes along and says "Have you seen Shelagh Fogarty recently?" and then uses my clip !!!!!!! In case you are wondereing, no I haven't and I haven't even met her!!

LBC have been full of Shamima Begum today. The poor little innocent

Does it not occur to the mouth pieces at LBC that perhaps, just perhaps, the Home Secretary and the Judge maybe privy to some information they aren't and there maybe very good reason to keep her out of the country? Just a thought .... 🤔
Sajid Javid said in an interview a while back about "having seen things" which involved her, I would be pretty sure that Intelligence Services will have extensive footage of the barbaric happenings within ISIS that no-one will get to see, nor should we, or keyboard warriors/mouthpieces in the media be able to see either.

I don't trust anyone at this point ... the meeja, the intelligence services, the judicary, the politicians, or Shamima. The only person I trust is my dog and I'm even having doubts about her, I seem to be short one bag of kibbles.

The BBC must be disappointed.. They were probably planning a 6-part series for her - 'My Life as an Isis Bride'. I fear it's not the last we'll hear from her.

Me too.

You assume that Global have a duty of care to presenters whose services they use, but I wish we had some info on his unexpected absence.
I guess it's up to Steve whether or not the listeners are informed. In general he talks about his ailments but he's never said much about his long absence last year. I sometimes wonder if it was, or still is, more serious than we realise.

I have been listening to both LBC and Talk Radio and they have both been talking about Shamima Begum all day. They had a barrister on Talk Radio this afternoon who confirmed that this is the case in that Sajid, MI5 and the Judge did have vital information which will never be released and more so, even her own lawyers will never have access to this information.

Rejected by NewsNight cut deep

Jobby is such a hypocritical coward, he will never criticize people (apart from Farage) who work for Global but is more than happy to slag-off Laura K on the BBC. The irony is, when he does attack the Beeb he sounds just like all those nuts on GB News and TalkTV, including Farage. He is actually getting more deranged, he's morphing into Neil Oliver. Are they are similar age I wonder? Men can start to go a bit 'odd' in their 50s can't they ... I'm getting there myself, I'd better be careful.
