I happened to catch a caller called Liz who gave him a very good run for his money and he got quite irate and flustered. The discussion was about Shamima Begum and whether she was just an innocent victim of child trafficking/prostitution. She has said sorry for everything so what's the problem..?? Ah..dastardly racism! Liz was measured and assertive and challenged James on his agenda so the inevitable patronising started. Does it not occur to the mouth pieces at LBC that perhaps, just perhaps, the Home Secretary and the Judge maybe privy to some information they aren't and there maybe very good reason to keep her out of the country? Just a thought ....

The BBC must be disappointed.. They were probably planning a 6-part series for her - 'My Life as an Isis Bride'. I fear it's not the last we'll hear from her.I don't trust anyone at this point ... the meeja, the intelligence services, the judicary, the politicians, or Shamima. The only person I trust is my dog and I'm even having doubts about her, I seem to be short one bag of kibbles.

I guess it's up to Steve whether or not the listeners are informed. In general he talks about his ailments but he's never said much about his long absence last year. I sometimes wonder if it was, or still is, more serious than we realise.
I have been listening to both LBC and Talk Radio and they have both been talking about Shamima Begum all day.
