James would be better suited soley on a podcast, or on a station like SiriusXM in the US, he gets too far into the weeds of politics and it's too esoteric for mid-morning. I'd prefer someone like Iain Dale, or frankly anyone who can get one or two credible guests ... not irrelevent 90s pop stars or that Welsh guy.

Trouble is, he's still pulling in those listers from somewhere. Though his RAJARS did tank off slightly last quarter. Let's hope it continues.

He said this morning he's going nowhere. Even if he won the lottery he'd still come to work because he loves it so much.

Steve Allen always says that but I genuinely believe he lives to work. James just wants to annoy us.


I tried Lammy again at the weekend and his delivery of things is awful. It was all nuclear Armageddon. He kept pausing for effect saying sentences slowly. He thinks on stage.

James is a wind-up merchant. It's so obvious that he's disappointed that he's just another Jeremy Kyle variant considering all the help his upbringing has afforded him. I bet he goes to some dark places.

I would imagine that his darkest episodes relate to the O'Brien series he did for ITV.

It would have been his dream but it turned into a nightmare as he was routed by the chavs of daytime ITV.
