If you fancy broadening your radio horizons, Argos have this internet radio on clearance for £19.99.
I took a chance on it today as d.a.b signal can be patchy here at times, and so far have been listening to 95.5 The Mountain in Arizona, a talk station in Adelaide and some news & sport radio from Alaska amongst others 😁
It's not a top brand of radio, just the cheap Bush/Argos make, so no idea to it's longevity but for under £20 it is great fun.
Should add too that the sound quality is pretty decent.
** will report back in 2 weeks after it has packed in **

For the price it's good, bit fiddly at first to work it out, but it has tons of stations on it, nice colour screen, local weather screensaver after you input your location.
"Brisbane LIVE!... Hey Breeny..gday big fella knockin it outta the park this a.m on the big 4BC airwaves" 😁

I'm a hardened air fryer convert after 1 month of use 😁 we haven't used the main oven once.
Used it for frozen chips, bacon, steak, chicken, hash browns, jacket potatoes etc.
You can even bake a cake in it.
Just make sure you buy the right one you need, capacity wise, ours (for 2 people) is 11 litre.
Also, retailers have hiked the prices up ridiculously lately so shop around, Argos are ok still.
I can recommend this one, very impressed with it, it's bit different with shelves and rotisserie function.

Looks good. Is that photo accurate of how it can be used?

Doubt we'll ever have that amount of food in at the one time.
These retailer pics are always representative of the max capacity.
The heat source is at the top, so if you have food on top shelf it'll cook quicker than the bottom shelf.
We usually use the middle shelf for more even cooking, like chicken breasts or a steak, stuffed peppers.
You can cook a small chicken (max 1.3kg) using the rotisserie function, which works well.
The prices for air fryers have got stupid lately.

Is the radio an alternative to using a device? Same stations you get online?

I don't have a smartspeaker/Alexa thingy Piff paff puff, but I got this radio just for more variety to listen to alongside the d.a.b radio.
I've just been going through it's menu and selecting say USA & it shows the States, Cities, genres, news, rock etc.
Yeah, it's online stations which you could listen to on your computer or smartphone too.
For £20 it's great.

Sounds great, all those stations in one place. I don't have Alexa etc either and as you say more variety (y)

This could be perfect for my Dad. I was looking at getting him an Internet radio because I think he would love station like Serenade and Boom Lite which are internet only.

(He has internet for when I visit but I have resisted getting him an Alexa as I think he'd just end up arguing with it 🤣 )

I was listening to Serenade this morning 😁

Bobby ... with your recommendations for air fryers and internet radios it's like having our very own QVC on the thread. Steve would be so proud of you. 🤣
Happy to help, ladies & gentlemen
Ian Payne has been very entertaining these past few nights, sounds like a man on the edge of sanity at times.
She got the house...I kept my pension

Nice. Which one would you recommend for one person? I've seen different priced ones, but unsure of what's what.

It must have been a rough day for the production staff on James's show. He will have been demanding that there would be no calls about the £ today,
