And now for something completely different ! It has long been understood that for obvious reasons you don't put in the same advertising break the same product by two different companies. Yesterday, I think, there was an ad for 'PetPlan' Insurance (not heard an ad for them previously), and that was immediately followed by an ad for 'Pets in a Pickle'. The latter is owned by Global ! I would imagine if someone was asked had they heard an ad for a pet insurance company recently, they would go for Pets/Pickle. Not only has that been played many times, but as it was the second one played it would be nearer the forefront of the brain !

There are also 2 dental related adverts, TDC gnashers and Dawood & Tanner.

I called Clive Bull once 5 or 6 years ago under a pseudonym. Wonder if they've still got my number/I.P. address on record? Probably backed up into the Cloud somewhere no doubt.

Its Dawood and Tanner for me as Farmer Bob's picture of a horse's gnashers always made me smile.

Also who wouldn't want a full new set of teeth in just 24 hours?
 
I think it might have been mentioned before but I think the Billtong people are the same as one of the Dental practices ... they are in cahoots, the Billtong will rip your fillings out and the dentist will sort them out again. Very suspicious. :unsure:
 
I wish I had seen the Alison Hammond cookery segment on This Morning ... "She just opened a tin of Frey Bentos and chopped-up some corned-beef ... I couldn't understand it". LOL, did this happen?
 
Anyone know if those radio apps that allow you to listen to radio stations around the world, broadcast live radio from other countries at the current time in said country? I been trying to find one, but I listen to certain stations in USA and they say it's the night before or something, which is a bit annoying as I want to listen to the station live at the current time. I don't know which app is the best for this. I been using MyTuner which is good. Any other recommendations?
