So much news ... Chinese spies, Novak Djokovic, Prince Andrew, No 10 parties

I've switched off today. I was listening to Steve earlier this morning and switched him of too. Suffering with Covid and I don't think I can take any more heckling or gloating, especially not off JOB.So much news ... Chinese spies, Novak Djokovic, Prince Andrew, No 10 parties

Yes a quandary and it says much when Djokovic, mostly featured on the front pages across much of the world is the subject of the fourth item read out on the news. I listened to all of the Nick Ferrari Show this morning (unusual for me), along with Boris Johnson he fell off my Christmas card list years ago but how the stories you mention inspire the best of calls. So much news ... We are a passionate and interested nation and deserve better from our Government.
It has been quite a week for a news hound like Nick Ferrari. It shows him at his best I think. Next week will start strongly too with an interview with Kier Starmer.Yes a quandary and it says much when Djokovic, mostly featured on the front pages across much of the world is the subject of the fourth item read out on the news. Probably not right away but hopefully the beginning of the end.Hopefully the news about parties the night before the DoE funeral will finally do for Boris. Whether you are a royalist or not The Queen represents the whole country and insulting the Queen in this way is insulting the entire country. Even Andrew Bridgen is calling for him to resign.

Meanwhile James seemed to be laughing to himself in his show intro again. He is a strange fellow.
He had probably been rattled by the strong economic numbers out of the UK. After all he has spent years calling Brexiters "thickos" so the UK doing better that the EU he loves will have him worried.Nick Abbot was so obnoxious to caller Ranjit there, just talking over him and then cutting him off, what a twit.
Must be taking lessons from O'bingo.
Ian Payne has been having trouble with his new trainers' shoelaces, despite triple-knotting they still unravel.
You need a pair of those shoes with the large velcro tab that secures them.I have the same problem! I find tucking the end loops inside the shoe, once it is tied, helps. If only the world's problems were as simple as that !!
I missed most of Jim's shows this week, Nick was quite manic last night. He had probably been rattled by the strong economic numbers out of the UK. After all he has spent years calling Brexiters "thickos" so the UK doing better that the EU he loves will have him worried.
I guess the good economic news was ignored by James O'Brien as well?

Some can be like that. It is as if they have put some sort of lacquer on them to make them slippery.Ian Payne has been having trouble with his new trainers' shoelaces, despite triple-knotting they still unravel.
The listener was also informed that Peter Sellers never wore shoes with laces, always slip-ons.
I haven't been listening to LBC much but I did hear Steve saying about his banking bother and having his account frozen because eh couldn't remember his security details. Sounds like he had some large amounts to pay off. Tax and mortgage .
It happened to me recently. I can't remember the last time I phoned the bank so when I had to call them recently I knew it was going to be interesting.
I couldn't find today's podcast. Still on 17th, so no idea why it's not been up, so I didn't bother to listen. For some reason, I can't listen on catch up as Steve's show cannot be accessed via the catch up, so I have to go to podcasts and listen that way.
bit of a nuisance. How did you get his show? Or did you listen live?
btw, didn't he pay off his mortgage? I'm sure he said he had, or was very close to doing so.
Todays show isn't up on podcast. I had been listening to the day before 17th. It is up on catch up though on the LBC app.
Steve said about the mortgage that he had had an endowment mortgage and it had fallen short so he had to make up the difference. H era staying to pay that off and his tax.
Why don't they put up the podcast? Weird.
I am surprised he hasn't paid it off by now. I heard people saying he's on probably £150-200k per year. Seems a little high, but if it's true then I'd expect he would have paid it off. His place has got to be no more than £300-350k hasn't it?
