Why would he have had two vaccinations himself and then be anti-vax? I found him extremely strident to listen to.

I think he started off by thinking that if you don't want it it's up to you but then when the government started saying they were going to mandate it for certain jobs and there was talk vaccine passports and then he started to lose it and now says he won't have the booster 'in solidarity' or some nonsense. He also refuses to wear a face mask on a flight to America. I was surprised he held onto his job for so long after this tweet tbh.

I am surprised they let him on the flight without a mask. Obviously claiming he is exempt. It would be a shame if, like most in hospital, he became ill because he caught Covid because he hadn't been totally vaccinated.

I had a look at some profiles. Very easy to see who the snitches are 🤪
 
Glad Maajid Nawaz has gone. He's got issues he needs to sort out.

James O'Brien is my favourite. I love how he destroys people's arguments with facts, but always gives them enough rope before he dismantles them. 😂

Pretty scary isn't it, that is how some get their jollies, by getting others banned permanently from an entertainment forum.
Next time David Domb newsreader fluffs his lines I'm on the phone to OffCom.

Is it not that a forum would have rules and if you break them (repeatedly), you get removed?
Fluffing lines is a slightly different proposition to giving out false or misleading information.
Ofcom is specifically for checking this doesn't happen and if it's reported, they investigate it.
Seems fairly straight forward!

Great news Maajid has been booted off LBC, couldn't believe the nonsense he was spouting!

I non compris! How do you know it is not something the poster has discussed, or a post that the poster has reported?

I posted for years and had no trouble at all. Then suddenly it all changed. The odd bunch started reporting and the rest is history

Unfortunately that is not how it worked Ann. There was an orchestrated effort to get rid of different points of view.

That would be fine if rules were so ardently adhered to all over the forum and not just confined to one thread. Makes it look a tad suspicious.
Also the bans came about for the most trivial of indiscretions which also makes it very suspicious. How could you not think it was an orchestrated attack on people who did not hold the prescribed view? Outright homophobic, dangerous or racist views I totally agree with. Having a light hearted jab about a spelling mistake? Pathetic.

That's why I like Tattle so much. No echo chambers.Other views are allowed to thrive.

I also think running to OFCOM repeatedly is a bit pathetic. They are not there to endorse a listeners individual views. Andrew Pierce is entitled to his take on something without it necessarily being regarded as misleading information. LBC is not a public information service. It is a talk radio show that encourages callers of every persuasion and view.

Unfortunately Maajid overstepped the mark. As did Nigel Farage and Katie Hopkins.
 
That hour on JK Rowling and how "devastated" James was / would have been if Jon Stewart was right about anti-semitism in Harry Potter was absolutely nauseating. I particularly relished the bit where he mentioned that perhaps she should have chosen leprechauns instead, then fell over himself trying to make sure that no Irish people were offended by that idea. If there's a woke bandwagon on the move, James is gonna jump on it!

I wonder if he'll mention today how pissed off Jon Stewart is about having had his words taken completely out of context, how it was meant as a joke, how much Stewart adores Harry Potter, how he absolutely doesn't think the books, the movies or JK Rowling are any any way antisemitic, and that everyone going on about it should "bleeping get a grip". I doubt it.

That hour was cringeworthy to say the least. It was actually quite funny listening to James desperately trying not to offend someone.

I haven't heard James recently, did he ever address the fact Jon Stewart was livid with how his remarks were taken?

"I don't know" over and over, he's testing which way the wind is blowing regarding his fanbase.
