Still if a shop sells Spanish flags they will get some business out of him.

Do we know whether Matthew Wright has graduated to higher level pain yet? If so he may need some of Jobby's coffee enemas.

Looks like I’m going to have to pay for a nerve blocking drug in my neck next week or face months of pain. Good job I’ve just sold my house …. Not sure I’ve got a choice. Meds today are definitely keeping worst of pain at bay. Amyltriptilene worked well last night too

LBC is actually tit isn't LOL. A bit like a tabloid rag in audio format. The only reason I occasionally tune in is so I can contribute something to this thread. :ROFLMAO:

I used to vaguely like Iain Dale but the more I've read about him the more I've found him to be a weird and quite morally repugnant individual. Not that I'm a saint you understand ... but he's just 'ick' for me now.

Irony of Ironies, there is a post today bemoaning how bad LBC "chit-chat" is now, compared to a few years ago.
If only certain folk hadn't gone out of their way to get others banned then.

Another one here that has gone off Iain Dale quite a bit. It's always noticable just how bitter he seems that other political podcasts are doing better than his. I wonder if he will ever realise that maybe it's because (most) people don't want to hear about his past sexual expolits. He also repeats the same stories again and again. Maybe now with Jacqui Smith gone the podcast will improve. I get that they are good friends but they also brought out the worst in each other in some ways from a listener point of few. Having said that they seemed to have some crazy fans that got off on hearing their "smut".
He's been incredibly cranky on his lbc programme and twitter recently. Snaps a lot at people without actually bothering to listen or read what they are saying and takes things as a personal attack a lot.

It's very odd he goes down that route. Who tunes into a political podcast to hear about his sexual shenanigans? I stopped listening to him and unfollowed him on twitter quite a long time ago.

I understand with podcasts you can get away with more than you can on air but people listen expecting to hear a cratain thing. It's the reason Nick Abbot bleeps out any swearing on the Nick and Carol podcast. He says that people are not used to hearing them swear so will tune in not expecting it. As it happens, I think it adds to the funny. One of the very recent ones, Carol was in such a foul mood and the first 5 minutes was literally just bleeping. 🤣

I went back and had a look at the posts there for the month I was booted off - January 2020. There were two main cliques, roughly right and left, pro-and anti-Brexit, but it was nothing like as political as it is now. The discussions were mainly about LBC. I remember the mods being quite tough on that, posting warnings to stay on topic. Now you have to wonder if the thread is actually monitored at all. There was actual discussion! Even the nasty ones kept it reasonably polite. I got quite nostalgic looking at the familiar friendly posters, some of whom I know are here.
