Doesn't OFCOM need a threshold of compaints to be met untill they will investigate? (1500?) I think a lot of people have it in for GB News, whereas I don't think anyone gives a flying fig what Bishop Lamster drones on about, he might not even get 1500 listeners let alone complaints. :ROFLMAO:
There is quite an irony there isn't there? GB News gets the complaints because it has so many viewers/listeners more than a few of whom spend their time saying it has no viewers. Perhaps Matthew Stadlen cimplained.

Had to search long and hard in the depths of the BBC news site to find this story

Liverpool student who shared guide on bombs and guns detained - BBC News

Had it been a 'far' right nutter, you know JOB would have woven it somewhere into the droneologue
I definitely think these far left extremists have taken the place of far right thugs and are much more dangerous. Luckily this one was caught. It's dangerous times with these type of home grown terrorists being radicalised online after being indocrinated in schools and unis.

Stadlen made a right tit of himself on Peter Cardwell’s Talk Radio show on saturday. Doubled down on everything, moaned that the met police hadn’t sent the flying squad round to investigate the theft, claimed his assailant was white when their face was completely covered by a mask… it was embarrassing.

I keep wondering who are the hordes of 'far right' trouble-makers who get a mention whenever there are calls for legislation to curb possible terrorist activities. Where and when do they hold their marches? What do they do and say to justify a place alongside the protesters who disrupt London? Even Tommy Robinson and his gaggle of union flag wavers are pretty low profile these days.

Today looks to have been another success for Nick Ferrari. No doubt Gary listens every day so he can complain. Rather like those on the dark side.

To be fair he was trying to make it a big deal when, after his interview with Natasha Kaplinsky, he probably realised that it isn’t.
I remember being taken to see Bambi as a kid by my aunt and being totally gutted by the (spoiler alert) death of Bambi’s mum. An early heads up might have helped. I also took my kids when they were younger to see a James Bond film. It was Casino Royale, the first one with Daniel Craig, and I just assumed that it would the usual family viewing. The level of violence was way too unsuitable for children of their age yet it was given a family viewing certificate. Again, a bit more of a heads up would have helped. As Natasha said, nothing is being banned or cancelled. It is just that more information is being provided in advance for discerning parents. Not sure if it is really worth the huffing and puffing of our daily woke inspector.

Oh dear. AI generated trolling? Really?
Anyway, delighted to hear James O’Brien’s highlighting the strange interview given to Nick Ferrari where Kemi Badenoch completely back tracks on her first statement re Hester’s deeply unpleasant comments about Diane Abbott. I don’t supposed it has anything whatsoever to do with the £15m donation? No sir.
I look forward to further slurs with the election forthcoming from those desperate to pretend that the Tory government aren’t responsible for the mess this country is in and who happily lap up the headlines from the Daily Mail. If you want rinse and repeat, just follow the “back to square one” rhetoric and the guff spewed out by the likes of Tice, Farage and Anderson.
---
Just to be clear, the Minister for Women and Equalities has called the racist verbal attack on Diane Abbott (a black woman) “trivial”. You won’t find any criticism of that in the right wing media though.
---

You seem quite happy for this to be forgotten yet the Tories are happy to be bankrolled by a person who made a clear racist and deeply unpleasant comment towards Diane Abbott, has made multi millions of pounds from government contracts and has given £15m back to them. If this was happening to the Labour Party do you honestly think we would hear the end if it from multiple sources? No of course not. You might remember the Daily Mail running multiple front pages on the Starmer curry non story during lockdown? It was all about deflection and another example of how the news narrative is being driven by the far right in this country. The reason O’Brien has spent so much time in the Abbott/Hester story is because it is a big deal. Unlike Starmer’s curry.

Prepare for a tirade against the cruel Tories cracking down on Mental Health fraud and deliberate work avoidance. Cue weeping callers happy to divulge their perceived horrific life circumstances whilst genuine sufferers battle on regardless and try to do their best with what little they have and can't bear to listen to all the outrage and whining.

In the old days there were lunatic asylum's, these days the same people can call LBC. It's good coin for Global and their vastly overpaid gobshites, sorry, 'presenters'.

It seems that James O'Brien cannot stop himself.

Matron used to smack his bottom at school and now he has 'mental health issues'. That gives him a free pass to being a hateful bastard and misogynistic pig.

Now now..#BeKind. We must remember that it's no good being resilient because that's so toxic..We should all just release all that anger and pent up emotion and have therapy. Reach out, you poor suffering people.. Get that diagnosis and make it your meal ticket..

I have an anxiety disorder because I know I will eventually die, it's very stressful. Can I get a flat and some benefits?

Or post on forums (not here obvs)

A Labour spokesman the other day was blaming the increase in those not working being down to waiting times caused by Tories. 'Bad nerves', 'mental health' and 'backache' are in the huge part skivers who play the system.

I think Jobby's shrink must be on holiday and he's dumping all his angst on the listeners in the hope that they can solve his mental torment. He's already touched on public schools and privilege. He should save some of that for the Garrick Club discussion. I've switched off or I'll be suffering mental torment too.

If James had never had a private education he'd have had nothing to talk about for the past 20 years.

It can't have been that bad as he apparently sends his girls to a private school.
To be fair, it was a boarding school, and, if subsequent revelations are true, not a nice place to be for a young boy. But he should have dealt with it and moved on by now.

I was being a bit flippant there. His school does sound awful. Like a convent school on steroids. Still, he's earned a good living from it.

Ian Payne annoyed me the other day. Very dismissive about the fact someone had tried to get into Kate's medical records and then basically saying she's had a hysterectomy so what's the big deal? His Dad did them all day every day. His callers seemed to agree with me.

a) No one has a right to access private medical notes without permission
b) We don't know if she's had a hysterectomy
c) She doesn't have to talk about it she doesn't want to ( it could be something very personal or embarrassing)
d) Just because Ian is an oversharer doesn't mean we all are.
e) Just because we 'pay' for the Royals does not give us a right to know every single personal detail about them.
