Very good that LBC are being called out with Ofcom but as much as I detest Lammy, having him break live news isn’t his fault, it’s the producers. As for Ofcom “launching an investigation“ well that should take all of three minutes then because the evidence is right there. Just listen to it.
Very happy that Rayner’s feet continue to be held to the flame. She’s a liar and she’s on the make like most of them. Trotters up at the table, snout very much in the trough.

I can't wait for the :poop: to hit the fan on this one. I wonder how Starmer will react.

What Carol is overlooking, reprehensible though it is, is that stashing your cash offshore is legal. Dodging tax by lying about your circumstances isn't. Imagine the field day the left would be having if it were a Tory MP.

This, a hundred times over. The supposed 'sensible moral centrists' spam the replies of any journalists daring to question Rayner with what amounts to "WELL WHAT ABOUT THE TORIES EH YOU CLIENT JOURNALIST TWATS".

Frankly, Carol and Jobby, I couldn't give a rats arse about Nadhim Zahawi anymore when he resigned well over a year ago. I do care about whether the incoming Deputy PM has broken the law.

It's this kind of whataboutery about the Tories, a busted flush already, that's going to be insufferable from these types come the election and first few months of a Starmer government.

If Mayor Khan is still in office, will his automatic response to public demands for more policing etc. be to blame the lack of it on the government for keeping him short of money, or will he have to backdate it and carry on blaming the Tories?

I enjoy Susan Hall's contributions to Nick's shows but I really think that Jobby could invigorate his show by having her as a guest?! As a foil to his mate Sadiq's numerous appearances? She'd be radio gold alongside him.

The problem for Jimbo is that a Labour government is a disaster for his career. Having accused others of being "client journalists" he will have a real problem. The Angela Rayner problem is just a forerunner of that.

It is even worse for Vorders who has a Twitter (X) output that looks as though it is sponsored by the Labour party. Supporting the Labour party is of course her choice but than stating "politically independent" on X requires her followers to be rather dim.

Perhaps this is why Vorders is rushing out on a book tour. Grab the £s before it all turns sour.

These people don't give a toss, they'll tailor their position to whichever argument keeps them in showbiz. That's what media whores do.

Just heard the tail end of an ad about Rishi answering questions from the public on LBC. I presume this will happen on Nick Ferrari's watch?

Just when I think I've got the measure of Nick Abbot he always says something to make me think 'what?' ... In one his recent podcasts with Carol he was saying he'd been busy watching Bernard Manning videos and laughing like a drain. Will the real Nick Abbot please stand up? 🤪

Same old same old from poor old Rishi. Just keep repeating the same old mantras and hope it will go away.

I only heard the first question and stopped. I already know what Rishi is going to say when someone brings up selling arms to Israel, it's a bleeping pointless question. I want to hear specific philsophical questions asked, not the usual old policy/politcal claptrap because as you say, it's the same old tit and it doesn't achieve anything. Questions like:

"Rishi, if your 15 year old daughter told you that she wanted to transition into a man, what would you say to her?".

Just stuff like that, not only do I think it would make for more interesting radio, the listener might actually learn a bit more about the person answering the questions. It doesn't have to be Rishi per se, just any prominent politician. I don't even much care about the answer, just how they answer and whether or not they come across as genuine.
