Nick F has managed to offend people by stating the bleeding obvious. He is fat because he doesn't exercise and likes red wine. I do agree with him. There are people who have medical conditions but the vast majority are down to poor diet and lack of exercise.

...poor diets and lack of exercise often linked to economic issues of course. Nick is just an old blow-hard and wind-up merchant from the tabloid news industry, I couldn't give a toss about 'his take' on anything. Blokes like him bore me to bleeping tears if I'm honest. He looks like just what he is.

I think heredity plays a part. My sister, like our mum, has to watch her weight. My brother and I take after dad's side of the family. and could live on chips and doughnuts without putting on an ounce. But I agree that most of the time people are overweight because of their unhealthy diets and lifestyle.

There are definitely other factors involved for some but on the whole, people can't be arsed to look after themselves properly. I'm not a bastion of healthy living but I accept any issues I have are down to me.

Bodies are weird. I have a friend who is as thin as rake and a real gym bunny. Has a massive cholesterol problem though.
 
Speaking of weird things. Around 80,000 England fans would have been out of their seats cheering. One however spent the rest of the game thinking up this point.....

I posted this already somewhere I think ... gawd-knows which thread I put it on! LOL. Nick made me laugh this morning when he read out all the BBC programmes on today followed by the word: 'repeat'. :ROFLMAO: I know it's in the interest of commercial media companies and employee's like Nick to slag-off their biggest rival the BBC, but it was still amusing and he did have a point, Bargain Hunt from 2013 is a bit of a bleeping cheek.
 
Steve's gone very quiet. He hasn't posted since just before his birthday. I thought of him last night when watching Sort Your House Out. If you haven't seen it; Stacey Solomon and three others go into somebody's dreadfully cluttered home and get rid of all their superfluous stuff. I thought there's an elderly chap in Twickenham who'd benefit from that. Rubbish TV but quite entertaining.

He has been tweeting. He's been to Little Italy, loved Louis Walsh on CBB, watched Kelvin Fletcher on a wholesome TV show , wish the Princess of Wales good luck and good wishes and had a cry at a Robin Williams film. Situation normal. 😆

Stadlen is tragic. I gather he's always ready with an hours notice to appear on GB news for when their first and second choice of guests cancels at the last minute.

Last time I spotted Matt on GB News he was taking part in a discussion about whether baked beans should be present in a Full English Breakfast.
