Never fear..The Military Hero is en route to Blighty to tend to his Pa.

God Save Prince Harry!

The whole 'Harry and Meghan are great' schtick James wheels-out is a great example of how much of a troll he is. He constantly goes on about 'The rich man in his castle, the poor man at his gate', yet somehow Harry doesn't count because ... why? Er ... he knows by saying how hard-done by he is (and his wife) it might wind-up a few Daily Mail readers and GB News viewers. I really do think that is the only reason why he does it. You can bet you bottom dollar if Harry by some miracle was somehow welcomed back into the Royal fold along with Meghan James would tear them down.

I can't see Harry returning to royal duties. He'd get a less than ecstatic reception from the British public when he turned up to open a shopping centre or whatever; and standing around for hours in freezing rain watching military parades was never on Meghan's agenda.

They've kept quiet on the type and stage of cancer he's got. Not much chance of that staying the case once Harry finds out. For shame
A little unfair I think, thewittowoo. At that level it's a family matter between father and son rather than king and wayward prince, and its delicacy and their privacy as far as possible should be respected. It's unkind to speculate that Harry will rush to a camera at the first opportunity to reveal private matters. He won't, and you can hold me to that!

He and his wife had no scruples about distressing his very old, unwell grandparents. If I were a royal I'd make him sign an NDA before opening my mouth in front of him.

Anyway, I've switched off for the rest of the day. An hour of callers telling Ian Payne about their cancer treatment was quite enough.

Remember this has been a rough winter for James. It has been a windy one which must have been quite a concern for Wiggy O'Brien.

Imagine the embarrassment of having to turn up to a book reading minus his syrup.

Being caught on the hop by an interviewer can happen. It's only a few weeks ago that another party leader when put on the spot agreed with a country depriving a population of light, heat and water. That would have lead to hundreds of thousands of deaths.

I'm assuming O'Brien didn't do an hour on that, calling Starmer a liar and not being fit for office ?

I know it was supposed to be a positive phone-in, but I could help of all the people who died horribly from Cancer who were unable to call-in.

I don't think that there's anything positive about having cancer no matter how hard people try to "normalise" getting a diagnosis etc.

I'm sure Charles' treatment will be absolutely top notch and delivered as speedily as possible. Not always the case for everyone so afflicted.

Somebody was hammering away furiously at the keyboard at 9am this morning. Be completely out of order to wonder whether it was just milk that had been poured over the cornflakes
