I'd like to claim psychic abilities but Jobby has become totally predictable.Bingo ! and a dig at the Daily Mail
Just had a look at his twitter feed today for any mention of the poisoned dwarf

Maybe his ex is called Betty!I thought Ian sounded a bit like Frank Spencer at times this morning.
An MP says he is standing down because of death threats. As he's a Tory he gets no sympathy on any level. O'Brien is utter poison
Did Sir David Amess get a mention during all of this?

James O'Brien is usually very keen on pictures of empty supermarket shelves. As are those on the dark side....EU HQ in Brussels has been ringed with barbed wire but Belgian farmers have broken through and are lighting fires. Pictures of empty supermarket shelves in France. I think this is how you spell schadenfreude.
After the news (above) that LBC's figures have dipped, I heard on the news this morning they are boasting about an increase!!! If somebody has sometime, perhaps you can have a look at the RAJAR site. You will only be able to compare overall listening, not programme by programme.
Meanwhile from Guido Fawkes New Radio Joint Audience Research (RAJAR) figures for Q4 2023, now released, make for interesting reading. GB Radio is up 32,000 listeners to 430,000. TalkRadio is also up as BBC listening figures stagnate and the BBC’s local radio stations see a whopping 10% decline from Q3 to Q4. GB News’ combined TV and radio output still comfortably beats TalkTV’s…
Over at LBC Nick Ferrari has overtaken James O’Brien’s listening figures and to take the throne at the station, gaining 45,000 listeners in the last quarter. That’s 35,000 ahead of O’Brien, who is steadily losing listeners…
(don't suppose James said anything this morning ?!)

The bits I read this morning were mainly stating LBC had increased across the board but not by much. The problem with a company like Global is they'll increase by 1 listener and shout it from the rooftops. Heart breakfast are doing well and Ferrari was the only one getting mentions from LBC.
I'll be honest, I never understand the figures. I just need someone to say so and so is the most listened to etc etc. All the talk of reach and stuff means nothing to me.
I'm not a fan of the likes of Global or Bauer tbh, they have basically killed our local radio output, swallowing up local radio UK wide.
Unless you listen to online/independent radio stations it is now a diet of repetitive tit like Heart, Capital, Smooth, Nation etc with the same dull playlists.
Same applies to what Global have done to LBC, no variety just the same topic, hour after hour.
