Please GOD NO. Two God-botherer's on the station is more than enough (Lammy / Swarbrick). Make's me laugh, for such a committed Christian Dan really loves earning the big-bucks as well as doing the corporate gigs. All part of God's plan I suppose. :rolleyes:

I'll second that. Hated that gruesome interview he managed to land with Nicola Bulley's husband through dint of contact at some stage..

I reckon Global will try to lure Gary Lineker...Causing Jobby to self-combust with pride and brotherly love..

Either loudmouth Gary or cheeky Huw?

They can't get Lineker unless he leaves the BBC. Even they won't tolerate that. Impartiality was the reason James and the BBC fell out.
 
I suppose I was thinking along the lines of GL leaving the BBC and MotD after another spate of controversial political comments.

I do wonder about the hold Gary Lineker seems to have there. It's weird. Yesterday BBC sport posted a joking post about Wayne Rooney's sacking from Birmingham City which Lineker did not approve of. He posted 'Delete This' and the BBC deleted it minutes later.

Lineker is first and foremost a football pundit. Sky Sport would snap him up.
 
David Buik must be on a personal retainer from Ferrari (free velvet Bow-Ties or something) after that rambling ode to Nick there.

I remember Nick's 10 minute eulogy to David when he performed his 'last' show before retiring. I wish he'd retire again. Nick has wet dreams about being a 'city man' but I always get the impression he doesn't know what the duck he's talking about and it's all for effect, pretty much like everything else that comes out of his gob frankly. Nick is the guy who in the middle-ages would stand in the town square ringing a bell and shouting 'Oh yay, Oh yay' :LOL:

Could never understand Buik 'retiring' then re-appearing several weeks later...not a word said 😁
